@JPe, thats also a possibility I was thinking about. Thanks for the tip. @bvdbos, thanks for the links.

Ah, seems nice. But I think it's too simple for what I have in mind. For now I will stay with an Arduino connected through WiFi.

You can see some information about your devices in de Insights part. Further you can 'debug' your flows by pushing messages with information to your phone. What I learned in the last few days is to add some time delays if you want some things happen…

I have this problem too. It's just that I don't use this functionality so it don't bother me this much.

@Eternity, The text in the card is: {{( Power Meter - PwrWM ) * 1000 }} Powermeter is the tag with current value of the Fibaro wallplug. PwrWM is the value of the wallplug I saved when the flow detects a start of the washing machine. O, I almost for…

Hi all, I solved my problems using just the normal Logic App. I'm using four flows to get precisely what I want. Flow 1 (Wasmachine 1): - Execute this flow just once. - Send message for debugging. Flow 2 (WasmachinePwrMtr1): Saving the curre…

I tried to set up a MySensors network in my house but after 3 weeks of trial and error I quit the project. I found so much errors in the "working" code from the MySensors website... I couldn't get one sensor working with the bare basics... Got a bit…

Hi Jeroen, Thanks for your reply, those are some really nice links! The automation of the Lego is not my biggest concern, this is something I will manage. The bigger problem for me is how to send a command from Homey to the Arduino / Wemo and buil…

@Fire69, I'm using a lot of KaKu in my house with Homey and have no complainments about it. Max distance is 10 meters with 1 concrete floor and 2 concrete walls between Homey, transmitters and receivers.
-
I've got some KaKu in my house working with Homey verry nicely. The max distance is 8 meters away but there is a concrete floor and some concrete walls between them. They still work verry good.

Yes, Trust and KAKU are the same. Here in Holland they both have there HQ's and "by coincidence" it's the same building . I don't have very much faith in the products from Trust, I prefer Logitech because of it's higher quality standards but KAKU wo…

I didn't saw them turning on lights and more of those control-stuff in their promotional film... Don't think they will support that. So that's one big argument that Homey is Google Homes Master!
-
Can you try if it still happens when Homey is powered off? Just remove the powerplug.
-
I created my own website with a plan of my house and added buttons to control lights via the webpage. So if you're looking for something like this, it is possible.
-
Unfortunately the support of the KaKu codewheels is not so high in the priority list of Athom...

I'm not having problems with the z-wave range. I bought some stuff a few weeks ago but the range isn't the problem. A Fibaro smoke detector is fitted on another level in my house with big concrete floors and walls between. The range is 10 m direct b…

Well, you do have a pretty active thread here all together. Just spam them ;-). If you need a hand for this, give a shout and I'll try to help if I can. If this make you job easier, then it would be awesome. You couple of heroes just deserve this!

@MRL, just did it, your message was putted down in my flooding mailbox :$

Ah ok, will try that later. Thanks!

Well, I just tried a to change the color of a testing wall switch but the color didn't change . Maybe it is because I'm running 0.8.20?
-
@kitkat There is a point on their ToDo list with sharing flows. I think import/export will also be included with that.
-
@aloft: I looked in the manual and read that the color of the wallplug can be configured by parameter 61 when the device is on and 62 when the device is off. The manual: 61. LED ring illumination colour when controlled device is on. Default value:…

Nice, works nicely. Just had to turn it off to delete some test flows.

@ Taco, good to hear! How does the logging of values work like the lumination sensor of the multi sensor? Mine seems to record once in a few hours. Is it possible to put this to once a minute? For example I would like monitor the power usage of the …

@Taco, My Homey is running on 0.8.20 and I just managed to add a Fibaro Wall Plug. The reason I bought the wallplug is that my wife want a notification when the washing machine is done. Is it possible to trigger a flow when the power usage of the pl…

Just bought a Fibaro multi sensor at Pims. Will try use his lux sensor to control lights.
