That would be really useful

Also location awareness is not yet supported on IOS. See the link in the previous post for more info.

As far as I know, push notifications are not yet supported on IOS. You also need the app, but the IOS version is still development. See also: https://forum.athom.com/discussion/1433/official-homey-ios-app-discussion-topic#latest

And... There is another one with somewhat the same Idea . Awesome dude, screenshot and intensions look cool! There are a lot of way's to do this, UI and code wise, everyone has different ideas and expectations... This works on a tablet, and I assum…

Ha, forgot to mention Python, that's also a possibility . The plan I have to start with is using a normal webserver, like you mentioned, but there are a lot of ways to do this. So trying to find the right method is also part of the plan... But, li…

I got a smartpi touch case a while ago, using that for now as a wall frame/case. Maybe i'll make something out of wood later on, but let's get it working first . I'm using the parts i had laying around, not planning to buy new stuff, only if needed.…

That is a pretty cool idea! I'm actually working on something similar using a RPI3 and the 7" touchscreen i had laying around. It's a bit more expensive than a tablet solution, but it also gives you more to work with. So i'll keep you guys posted. W…

@BasVanDenBosch Yup and yup . Just logged out and back in on my phone... And that did the trick... Tnx! Although... maybe it's strange since i did a clean install on my android... should just show up right?
-
Started testing just now, with push notifications... But somehow, my phone (or user) does not show up in the device field. Am i overlooking something or are there more with these kinds of problems?

@DieterKoblenz I think it, in it self, is a great idea. But, since all the fake spam email and stuff, people are a bit more preserved on software or services when there bank (details) are involved. Again, in it self it's a great idea and app, but …

@RoelofRos : That is a great addition! Would be really helpfull . Back to the original question... What i meant is more or less en updated overview of the LED ring itself. For me, my Homey is also a little bit out of sight (but that has more to do w…

Ok, things i noticed so far: - Homey seems to be a little faster, but crashes on me once every two or three day's. Not sure what causes it, but will try to find a cause next week. (since it's crashed, i think a log is of no use... right?) - Presenc…

I hope you're ok man, like the others said, take your time. Get better soon, take care.

Signed up and ready to test
-
Count me in as well... Expecting my homey tomorrow, so i'll be able to test as well

Like a few (or maybe more) other, I did not get a notification from PostNL (sms or within the app). But i'm not to worry... Like @Bumblez just posted his question, there were probably a lot of homey's sent out, therefore it can take a while before P…

Free is indeed relative, but i think the cheeper deals are great, for instance: Starterpack 2 white + basestation v2 + free bloom. Thanks for the tip!
-
@Bumblez I think it's good to ask around, to know the general opinion on the forum. Than again, like you said yourself, not everyone is active on the forum so you don't exactly know how many of the 1000+ preorders chosen for early delivery... Come…

I decided not to wait for two reasons: 1. I ordered (pre order) the geek edition, so tinkering and finding bugs is part of the geek experience in my opinion. 2. Assuming the hardware of homey will not change, all the changes will be software related…
-
@Ziglar ; Haha sounds familiar, hopefully the shipment goes well and we receive our homey with all it's feet still attached
-
+1
-
Agreed, as i'm waiting on my pre-order geek, it would not be bad to have such option(s) available... Since it is a live filesystem... So +1

Super awesome!! Congrats!

@nienix, I guess for some people it is some kind of experiment haha. On the other hand, we all do (i guess) understand why people react that way. Thanks for the update @Stefan, lets focus on feb 8th! And, also pretty awesome, some videos on what's …

@honey thanks!

@emile Thanks for the update! Just checking, you mean all the Geeks (kickstarter and preorder)? Or only kickstarter? (sorry, maybe i missed that in all the other communication in this topic (looking for the right words ), if so, let me know )

Props to @mistercage !! And also props to the "backers", hopefully this works out
