  • Could you be more specific about what app you are thinking about? For #2 there is a function 'round' in the app better logic.
  • It's a difficult choice with all the clock radios on the market. I want to add another one: Vobot. I don't have one myself but I found it after making an inventory of the available clock radios. It has the functionality of a Amazon Echo/Dot with IFT…
  • Maybe it is fixed by now, but negative values didn't work when I tried a couple of months ago. The work around is to select an earlier sun event and enter a positive value for a delay. Don't get me wrong, I'm  very happy with the sun event app.
  • Like JPe, I'm also thinking about Sets. I wrote a use case to combine three motions sensors into one set which triggers the lights in my living room. Using Sets reduced my number of flows significantly. It is the fourth post on the page below.  http…
  • There are television sets that support 'wake on lan'. This helps the interaction with Homey.
  • Maybe good to know for which manufacturers a remote app is available. I have a Panasonic for which a remote app is available. I agree with the other posts that I hardly ever use the smart functionality. The UI is too cumbersome.  You might want to l…
  • Niet goedkoop maar ik heb twee fibaro Power plugs en een Aeotec multisensor (via usb voeding) die ook als repeater werken. Misschien kun je functies combineren op je eerste verdieping.
  • Maybe some of you (in the Netherlands) are interested to know that Wednesday December 27th a tv special about Chriet Titulaer is aired (NPO1, 21:45h) You can vote for your favorite clip which might be included in the program at this website: https:/…
  • To keep you motivated in the difficult Christmas period you might want to consider a long term weight loss as well.
  • I'm not sure if the trigger card is available for your device, but you might look for 'motion no longer detected' or something similar. I'm on my smartphone and can't check available cards on my laptop.
  • While searching the forum for an example for the app Sets, I couldn't find one. Therefore I would like to share a use case. My problem was that in my living room I have two Hue motion sensors and a Multisensor6, for which the Hue sensor would turn …
  • Maybe it is an overkill for the hallway but for the living room I use a flow to turn on the lights at dawn  (when I'm not home) and a second flow for when there is motion in the living room and the light level is below a certain value. This could ha…
  • For problem 1 you also might want to look into the app 'Sets'. Each time there is motion, the timer is reset to the value you entered. This app also works well for multiple motion sensors. I can't help you with problem 2 and 3 since I use a differe…
  • Maybe I don't understand what you are looking for, but I'm happy with my Fibaro smartplug. It provides present power consumption and total power consumption. I created a number of flows to set alarms.
  • Not the least expensive option, but I needed a motion sensor and a humidity sensor and the Aeotec Multisensor 6 was the least expensive option for me.  While I was researching humidity sensors I noticed that not all sensors provide the same feedback…
  • I want to share this flow for adjusting brightness with the Nodon SoftRemote. I got the idea from the forum topic below and added functionality because now there is ELSE in the THEN column.  https://forum.athom.com/discussion/3520/dim-hue-bulbs-up-d…
  • Great idea to dim the Hue light bulbs. Since there is now an else option available, I took the liberty to add a bit of functionality to the flow. When the brightness is over 0.9, the brightness is set at 100%. The minus button on the Soft Remote dec…
  • I'm using the multisensor6 since July 2017. I haven't noticed a different response or problems from the sensor since the 1.5 update series. My sensor is connected to a USB power supply and I'm still at firmware 1.7 because I don't have a z-wave stic…
  • This is Home Automation 2.0. I bookmarked this post.  My wife is thinking the same thing. :-) It might be an idea to link outside resources, like is the rain against the window waking up your sun (Wunderground API) or does the bus drives past your …
  • Except for the 'wall mounted' part, your functional requirements are met by Nodon Soft Remote. There are four buttons and each button has four functions, i.e. single, double, hold, and hold&release.
  • Alexa itself also requires you to indicate which skill to use. For example I say "Alexa play on TuneIn". When I would leave out the TuneIn part, nothing happens. A few months ago, a post on the forum mentioned that removing the "ask Homey" part wou…
  • I have the Nodon soft remote. It is available in four or five colors. The remote has four buttons and each  button responds to single click, double click, long click and long and release. Therefore you can activate 16 flows. I ordered it last week a…
  • Thank you Marius. Quick is the magic word that makes it work.
  • Good job guys. I especially like the Else column.
