I know, but that's not the same as an overview of the reported bugs that were actually squashed, right?
  • After an hour or so, some flowcards disappear from the flows. After rebooting, they re-appear again :grey_question:
. I'm using Chome, could it be a Chrome issue?

Remember, the experimental updates .20 & .22 aren't meant if you want stability..
  • Athom is moving to another cloud provider, I just got an email about that. https://status.athom.com/ also shows some maintenance. So perhaps that is part of the problem.
  • The homey app gives also a faillure.
  • Same here, haven't been able to select a zone since a few hours and the app crashes as well. It didn't do that before. Probably related!

    quote

    Dear Homey owner,

Today we performed a major upgrade to our cloud services which partly replaced the old infrastructure.

The update is completed now, but there may be a chance that your Homey is temporarily unable to connect to this new environment. Therefore, your Homey could currently be unresponsive to interactions that require a connection to the cloud.

The easy fix for this is to reboot your Homey by unplugging it from power and plugging it in again.

After plugging it in again, Homey will automatically connect to the new environment, and you can continue to use Homey as you always have.

We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause you in case you're affected.

    Kind regards,

    The Athom Team.

That's most likely the reason the app doesn't work, my.athom is in maintainance...
  • how do you force an update? Mine is still set to 0.8.20, even though I have the experimental updates selected..

Uncheck the "automaticly update" -box. Then a button will apear.
  • i have to say i have more problems running on .22 than .17 My homey crashes (it seems) every day a couple of times. Cannot connect to the interface (offline) and no actions/flows are triggered.
So it is barely usable at this point (for me). Hope that update .23+ will fix this.

There's a bug in .22 that sometimes freezes Homey when it starts talking. You can prevent this by disabling the microphone.

It's fixed in .23, which we'll push to bèta monday if all our tests pass.
  • Thus the 0.8.22 gets not the stable status I hope.
Not that this would be effected Homey here, because it is of fore a week now.

My Homey has just died after being updated :'(
I unplug the power and then power it up again and it stays on for about 20 seconds then all LEDs turn off and it appears offline.  I can still ping the IP but nothing more than that

Why not make the default push of test firmwares on fridays... We geeks have a job to Weekend is for teasing and making love to Homey @emile

Maybe they do the same. Finished with the update they test the firmware during the weekend and if it is not bricked by Monday than it is good for the beta channel. (Just kidding  )
  • managed to resuscitate Homey with a reset and clear of data. Now Homey does not respond to "Ok Homey" for a second time, first time is great, then it stops listening! If I power off and then on I get one more "Ok Homey" operation before it stops again.....Now I know what my SO feels like  :/

I just had to do a reboot due to issues with Zwave (no response anymore, restart zwave chip didn't help). After that, Zwave was back, but now all 433 Mhz communication is lost ( i have a mix of Kaku and Action sockets).  The first reboot didn't get the Homey back, I had to do a power unplug to get it booted again.

Multiple reboots (either via software or power) don't help, 433 will keep being unavailable.
I've done reboots earlier with 0.8.22 , there was never an issue with 433.

I hope this update un-bricks my Homey. It's pretty but useless now :D

  • Me too, but it would be an experimental one thus I have to wait longer.

The last comment on Slack was something along the lines of: "maybe today, problably tomorrow"

Yep, tomorrow! Got a lot of fixes, and we're jumping to 0.8.24.
