It was on topic. I expressed my opinion on the speed of the smartphone app development. It was a critical which you or other mod did not like but it was about the smartphone app. If that is off topic than you could delete half of the forum.

Athom and athom fanatics does not like critics! This is not the first time they are doing this and just here. They removed negative reviews from Amazon!!!! I could not believe, I did not think it was possible. I nicely wrote a review mentioning all …

If it is a working app why is it not published? I does not work for me either.

Unfortunately yes. I regret buying LightwaveRF dimmers. The sockets and inline switches are perfect but the dimmers are not just poor performing but do damaged. It dimms the light to max 70-80%. It makes the transformer of the 12V halogen and the LE…

The time stamp does not change since yesterday. This topic can disappear faster.

So don`t even want to fix it. Blame you, your home and anyway you get what you have paid for. Lovely. It is not the accent, have many native English speaker friends it worked for none. Does not matter in what room homey is it does not work. Still tr…

Looking forward.

Ted. We were talking about sockets and just as you said it is defined as sockets. The dimmers are obviously classed as light as you won`t use a dishwasher on a dimmer. The plug-in switch... yes but socket is socket. And yes you need to remove a sock…

Sounds like a Homey issue. I just added a socket and inline relay couple days ago and I could assign it to a given class at the end of the `add device` process.

Or use virtual devices: https://forum.athom.com/discussion/3065/virtual-devices-modes/

Would be nice but rather pay for a proper speech to text service.

Yes, have already tried that. But the raised github issues just get closed without fixing it. No luck with forum, slack, direct emails or github. Lying low...

I was in the same shoe. Wanted to get a nest and Danfoss. But: * Homey`s Z-wave range is very poor when it comes to battery powered devices. At least in my case. * Nest (and other) can only work Opentherm and relay interface. They dont support E-…

I had the same issue. Living outside of NL the trash app does not help. So I had to do it with the ical2voice app. But the thing is that the ical2voice cant handle recurring events. So you have to create individual reminder for each week.

With Homey you can`t update it.

From slack: annemariehuijink [10:18 AM] 26 April We know what the problem is with speech and non responding. Now we're searching for a solution. jeroenvollenbrock [2:13 PM] We have multiple providers, but the outage at one caused us to hit th…

@Arie_Laxed If you could add a Relax mode, Manual mode, Garage and push button drivers on github I will produce/get some icons and do a pull request.

Well you are a lucky one. You had a good voice recognition for so long. I had good voice recognition only for few times ~10 minutes in the last one year. Seems like now your voice is routed to the inferior speech to text engine. I have contacted Ath…

@nickvandergraaf Thank you for your feedback. I can`t reproduce the issue. I have checked the code for typos but I could not find anything but I am not a programmer. Do you have this issue only with the virtual TV? Can you try with the generic Virtu…

@TedTolboom I guess you meant manual mode when the house goes dumb... Yes the modes work the same as the other virtual devices, they can be on or off, active or disabled, armed or disarmed. I would not limit the modes, there might be instances when …

Of course! how could I forget that... I added movie mode: Please find attached the app. If you don`t know how to install app not in the appstore:

I was thinking (and planning) to add the following icons/modes/virtual devices: Modes: * Random * Sleep * Guest * Quiet * Holiday Devices: * Light * Alarm * A/C * Blinds * TV * HiFi * Consol

Please find attached the app with my changes. You might want to check the Dutch translations. I will upload additional .SVG icons here on the forum.

I have the same reception with the LightwaveRF. They claim that IR reception has been improved as well. That is also the same as before.
-
Yes it is improved with the 1.2 update. I used to have 10% success rate now it is around 20-25%. That is double but still very low.
