  • Very nice. As I promised I will remove the video if the hit rate here will go over 70%. So than it`s my problem that I have spent time with it. I am sure it will improve by tuning the microphone but that won`t fix it all. As you saw in the video tha…
  • Caseda, I know that Z-wave is a sensitive issue for you put an effort improving it. It is really appreciated. There is no need to make a video about the 433Mhz range there is already one on youtube. Furthermore Athom is currently rewriting t…
  • There are people who believe what they want to believe instead of looking at the bigger picture. `I don`t believe unless I see`. Than you show it… `hmm, weird, edited, strange, that is not what I seen before`. Conspiracy, The moon landing has bee…
  • Those who don`t use their homey or sold it they are not active on this forum. I am neutral, some things are superb: Wide range of apps, 433Mhz range, voices but some things are below expectation: speech recognition, IR, Z-wave range. But of course i…
  • I haven`t edited the video to show a bad result. There is no cut there. As an extra I added my computer screen. Your accusation is too strong and baseless therefore not going to a pointless virtual forum war. Thank you for your comment.
  • Yes, exactly this is the response we always got when the issue was mentioned, hence the review.
  • That`s true. Some folks could say that there is an App. Well, it does not work most of the time for me on a stock Android. It takes ages to load, it freezes and often it does not show any devices. It happened often that I said that Ok homey Turn th…
  • I don`t think he compared compared Athom to Google. He compared their voice to text services. And there is a saying that you don`t have to reinvent the wheel. And if you don`t have the resources than don`t leave your customers on no man`s land. I t…
  • I am afraid it is not only you and the accent. Here in UK is the same, I am not native but my friends have Canadian and Cambridge accents (one of the clearest and balanced accents) and they have no success with homey either. It works for some Dut…
  • TedTolboom said: @ZperX thanks for the feedback. Settings are saved correctly; so that should not be the issue. Based on your description, I think it's an interpretation issue... where you expect that no motion alarm will be triggered if the i…
  • I have a problem with the WU app since the last update. I get tonns of error messages constantly:
  • @TedTolboom Homey: 1.1.4 Neo: 1.1.13 Step1: Removed the sensor from the Z-wave network Step2: Readded the sensor to the Z-wave network (1m away from homey) Step3: Moved the sensor to a room (in homey). Step4: I chose these settings: Step5: Pre…
  • The night mode of the motion sensor is still not working for me. On the other day i set the the turn on limit to 30 lux and placed it underneath an LED tape. The sensor reported back 2300 lux however it was still turning on the motion alert. What is…
  • frankvanes said: For what it's worth: I had range problems as well and I had a Fibaro wall socket and kept having range issues. No more than 3 meters or so.  I recently installed a double switch by Fibaro (with a small wire antenna) and now I …
  • I don`t speak dutch. What Stefan is saying in that video?
  • You are asking the wrong person. It was not my decision. I agree with you.
  • That will never be allowed due to security and privacy reasons. At least that was the official communication. Although Emile has mentioned that they would make some kind of exception for a VoIP app. (Which would be extremely useful for elderly peopl…
  • I don`t think it will take Athom to fix it. If it is code related issue than they are good at those think. If it is signal processing issue (Voice, range, IR) than it is outside of their comfort zone. The voice recognition does not work since day on…
  • Yeees DLNA. That app is really missing. It would be really great if someone could make one app. DLNA works with most WiFi/LAN connected players. Also with IR you can`t set the volume to 50%, etc.
  • @lenonline The tado TRV is a new product, it`s not yet implemented in the app. Unfortunately the API is not public so that makes it harder.
  • APIAI is not a speech to text engine. You don`t need the microphone. But I it would require a good speech recognition from Homey and unfortunately that is not on the horizon.
  • I could have a look for you if you upload here: https://imgh.us/ Or Athom has this dedicated github page for it: https://github.com/athombv/homey-vectors-public
  • Is there a V3 API anywhere on the internet?
  • I understand that the software status closed. You don`t need to go through hundreds of questions and complaints to find the valuable posts. However Athom has left the forum good couple of months ago and withdraw to slack. they only react on a topic …
  • On first of September OpenZwave has posted this: Great News for OpenZWave - Sigma have released a lot of the protocol Specs into the public domain. They have pretty much opened up the protocol now to allow anybody to write software that talks to Z-…
  • Could be security, safety reasons. Non accessible location. Exterior use. Install and forget it (which does not work with Homey).

  • It comes with some noname Chinese battery. These are Lithium batteries as all CR123 batteries. Fibaro comes with Panasonic battery which is on the high-end. However they lasted 7 months. If you are looking for external power option like the one on t…
