Yes it is and on aliexpress i found them for 0.79 dollar a piece but don't know if that are the latest v4.0 versions.

Could this device also be used for presence detection? I assume it could... In that case it might be a nice alternative for the kids, just put one on their keychain. No need to have a mobile with you. And indeed, I did encounter them in the Kruidvat as well.

I think it sends the location data through bluetooth so if your kids are closeby its oke...but for going to school and stuff it will not work because it cannot send the data (you are too far away)

I think it sends the location data through bluetooth so if your kids are closeby its oke...but for going to school and stuff it will not work because it cannot send the data (you are too far away)

But that would be exactly the point of presence detection

Bought some at kruidvat today but it seems that when I close the app on my iPhone the tag sounds the alarm as in not in reach anymore. Have to re-connect manually. Hope it works better with Homey.

Bought four of them and just got delivered but looks like I have to do a recovery with wipe first. Also the bulbs are too big for my ceiling-lamps

As for lifx : a firmware update worked, I can now see the first lamp which was updated. Hope they shrink the bulbs in the next FW.
