If you buy/have a firewall and block all outgoing and incoming connections from Homey you are good to go. You could also whitelist some Athom (cloud) IP addresses to make sure you still get the software updates, but that probably also enables the cl…

Yes, the tag reader is whitelabeld, there are some minimal differences though. The Zipato has a tamper signal if I remember correctly. But the implementation written for the BeNext should work for the Zipato as well ( if the IDs etc are added ). Sho…

There is also "myhomebox" https://www.myhomebox.house Has most of the same controllers as Homey. Don't have hands on experience with this one yet

Yes, I can elaborate on that. Afvalwijzer wasn't showing any data for the past couple of weeks (during december & first week of January). I guess that they needed to update all their collection schema's from all the gemeentes. I got some bugs an…

Yes, some API's are removed because they aren't supported by the API provider anymore (Afvalwijzer I thought it was). Still have to find a work-around to empty the settings before the (non-existing) API is called. I think an uninstall of the app an…

(sorry, didn't see there was a next page already, stupid small phone screens xD) @Computerblues for the dashboard thing you might want to take a look at HomeyDash (as long as Athom doesn't provide a native feature for it). A very cool (work in prog…

Let's hope that sold out means that new hardware is on it's way

I know that the firmware of the dimmer 2 are updated and solves some flickering when using low voltage led lamps. The only way Fibaro allows to update firmware is when a Fibaro controller is the main controller. So there is no change Homey is allow…

Yes, it would be very nice. But Google doesn't expose that date (near real time) to it's API... So Homey can't read/use it

Ah well, always critical... It now ships to the Netherlands (60€ for international version (you can also use the 30€ device, only need to get it from Germany/UK/US)). You can finally leave your settings to NL region for Alexa app on iOS/Android. So…

The Zipato keypad is (almost) the same as the BeNext keypad. You can probably copy some of the features there. The code is on GitHub and free to re-use https://github.com/Inversion-NL/eu.benext

@rex, Heb je een link naar het issue? Zou deze graag upvoten, denk dat het een goed idee is!

Totally agree with @mruiter. Well, somebody from the community is writing a better Alexa skill and is almost finished with it. He/she is going to hand over the code to Athom so they can integrate it in the Alexa skill. Hopefully there is some other …

Most Fibaro devices have a factory reset function. After that you can include them in Homey. The best way to find the reset is via YouTube videos, way quicker then trying to read all the manuals

I thought at first that an app for a robot vacuum cleaner was a must. Until I found a robot vacuum cleaner for €150. The price difference did it for me. The best domotica piece I ever bought. It now cleans the house every night at 1 O clock at night…
