  • @tommyjay  Could you elaborate on your motivation to select Nuki I don't see an real improvement over the already existing locks as ENTR or Invite or indeed Danalock since this has Zwave.
  • JurgenHuijbregts said: why use a nuki, when the solution can be completely done with Fibaro? I will post my solution later this day. Using a fibaro FIB_FGBS-001 Universal-Sensor, De Fibaro 1x2.5kW switch a cardreader module and a real good door…

  • @thayoung1. I cannot code but after your consideration I have immediately ordered 3 MOVE's
  • For those interested, there is another electronic lock available  http://www.nemefentr.nl
  • I suggest small similar video's, in the same setting, each addressing one of the posibilities of Homey from initial set-up to complicated flow's. In this case potential and new owners get a step by step introduction and at the same time you are deve…
  • mr Delta you start to be a little irritating.

  • I would also be very interested in purchacing a "Marvin" if you decide to sell. I would like to propose a hybrid solution. You build the Marvin without the head but with a solution to install homey as the head, it would be a pity to hide it
  • Have them a year or two. They work well, don't use rechargeable batteries they drain very rapidly. You can only send a setpoint so no feed back of the actual temperature.
  • I certainly do not want  more things that do "ding" LED response is great voice is ok, configurable means everybody happy
  • MarcoWijk, Homey looks nice on the table but can you elaborate on your experiences. IR usage (I see a TV) Zwave, Klick Aan Klick uit, Flow configuration and control of lights, Control by mobile phone, Control when not at home, Incorporation of movem…
  • Unfortunaterly I'm no programmer either. However I have managed to add several mysensors IO to my vera3. I believe if somebody programs a my sensors gateway for Homey it will bring a connection to a huge amount of home information and a fantastic ho…
  • Hi Athomey, Thanks for the updates. I have an overloaded Vera3 with Z-Wave, 1-wire and smart meter. How do you go step by step? Include in Homey and exclude from Vera per device? In addition I have some ghost device in Vera and wonder what will happ…
  • The question is "will the homey screen look like Fibaro or do have to buy a Fibaro to generate the display because I like it"  Ofcourse it will look different since it is an other product. To put an other domotica controller next to the Homey to gen…
  • What a strange question. If you like this buy a Fibaro. Just wait and see what Homey brings.
  • Undoubtfully skilled programmers are able to build exiting software. However I am always aware of an old saying, the Swiss army knife can do everything but is good at nothing. I am exited of the possibilities of Homey but do hope and expect from Em…
  • @tommyjay. Altough i dont like to be the dissapointing person, I think you are thinking way to complicated. Homey is designed as a home automation controller and the added value are the extensive communication possibilities. It is not ,and will not …
  • If you have burglars in your house you are to late. The effort should be for them to pass your property since they consider the risk to high. So light, movement, curtains and good locks

  • Indeed thats the smart thing to do. Therefore is is important to give the possibility to integrate with the various pieces of equipment. Alarm systems, Access control, temperatures, levels, pressure, wind, rain, light, on/of etc. Let the "other guy'…
  • Be aware homey is a home automation system is is not a building heating system. For this you neeed continues control. These use (PID) algorithms specific for this purpose based on Measurement, Setpoint and Output. What you may want to consider is ti…

  • Gentlemen, let's skip the trivial questions or assume to know an answer. I expect the Homey box will contain a manual or a link to a manual for your convenience. I am following the post's with interrest and would like to read some factual infor…
  • Does it have limit switches? You may want to consider the Fibaro Roller shutter http://www.fibaro.com/manuals/en/FGR-221/FGR-221-EN-A-v1.02.pdf
  • The Fibaro and Qubino come without switches, you can use your own existing set. I however find pulse switches more convenient in particular for dimmers. Read the manual, it has an electric diagram
