  • But @Bram Why not involve the community in this? It would be much faster and it would save jou resources...
  • @robertklep Nice! I think that opens up a lot of new possibilities. If you need my NodeMCU or some sensors, buttons, or led, let me know, I'd be happy to send some to you. That is the least I can do.
  • Hi @robertklep I can get the NodeMCU connected to homey (Generic) but as expected not all pins are recognised. I have a led on some pins and I can turn it on and off (so that is cool) but my temperature and humidity is not showing aswel as my butto…
  • Hi @robertklep I wil give it a try. I think all the pins will be a problem and all the readings they can give, but I will keep you posted if you wan't me to.
  • Hi @robertklep Thanks for your help, it works! It is very fast also. Now I can order more. I also have a NodeMCU with tasmota on it. Do I need some other app for it to work or wil your app work also? I imagine it won't work, the NodeMCU has more …
  • Hi @robertklep , Yes, found it. Overlooked it before I am going to give it another try.  Thanks for your help.
  • Hi @robertklep , sorry to bother you with such a basic question, but when I do that I get a very large number, not an ip address. large_number.homey.athom.com is what I see. I don't even see it with fing, but Homey is working and is online..
  • Hi @robertklep , I thought so but where do I find the ip address of my Homey?
  • Hi @robertklep I have flashed my sonoff basic with tasmota. It works through my browser. Now I want to set it up with homey. I have installed the MQTT broker app but I can't seem to find out what to do now. Is there somewhere a guide I could use? …
  • I have 3 power sockets and some battery devices. The powered ones are giving me troubles all the time. The one next to Homey is working all the time and it is fast. The one in my bedroom (one floor up) only worked the first day and after that it did…
  • yep, als je range goed is
  • @Eternity Nice! I wil try the steps you took. Now that you have routing, is it also working better. More reliable?
  • I will try it, this is not workable. The xiaomi devices are nice, good quality, affordable and normaly work perfectly. This range thingy is messing things up.
  • I did re-include the devices.  But the last known route shows if it is a mesh or not does it not? A mesh is a route to?
  • Hi @Eternity Yes, lets hope it wil be fixed soon. Thats one of the basic things devices with the zigbee protocol should do, Otherwise we could use kaku instead.
  • Hmmm, that is bad. The reason I use zigbee or z-wave is because of the routing...
  • Hi, I have the power socket (3 of them) and some battery powered switches a cube an a sensor. I placed the power sockets around the house to strengthen the mesh but they do not create a mesh. They all connect directly to Homey. Now my lights upstair…
  • It would be really nice to have Homey and Crownstone work together.
  • Hi @Lindhardsen Good, nice that it worked. Yes they should.....I have heard more z-wave range issues with the Danalock.  greetings, Aaron
  • Hi @Lindhardsen , the Philio is a battery operated device, isn't it? The z-wave routing only works with mains powered devices. You could place a z-wave socket nearby.
  • You have 2 versions the wired one and the wireless one. I use the wireless one. You do have to make your light bulb smart though. Use a zwave/zigbee dimmer/switch at your light bulb or you could use light bulbs that are already smart.
  • Hi @konradwalsh Yes IFTTT is sending the SMS.
  • Hi, I used the Xiaomi zigbee Aqara Wireless Remote Switch Double (or single). It looks nice, has a good build quality, is cheap and works perfect for me. Maybe a little downside (not for me) is that it is bigger then a normal switch so it won't fit …
  • Hi, Sadly it did not work. I tried it over facetime  I got the SMS but not the message through homey. The counter on my applet stil shows "Never run". Its a mystery  Aaron
  • @konradwalsh Oke, this is the thing. I don't have physical eccess to to my fathers GH at the moment but I used his ifttt app on my phone. The button works....on the phone, not when I test it on the ifttt site. Which make me think that there is some…
  • Hi @RonnO I thought of that but I foresee other problems then. I don't want to get things mixed. @konradwalsh That did not work either. The SMS works though and that applet uses the same words (help and alarm). It works all the time.  It needs to…
  • Hi all, Thanks for the ideas. I want to keep it simple and maybe later on expand and make use of other things. I know it is not 100% but it is at least a little bit more towards the 100%  He does not have a Homey, so I will have to do with the Goo…
  • Hi @konradwalsh I have tried the steps you told me. If I test the flow it works but if I test my IFTTT applet it does not. Makes me think it does not connect with the webhook manager.  I have used the athom cloud id and the token from what has been…
  • Hi @TedTolboom Not to rush or anything, just for information. How is it going with the smoke detector? My wife wants some in the house so I am looking at different ones. My experiences with xiaomi are good thus far so I would like to use their smok…
  • Hi, Sorry for not coming back sooner. I did not see there were new posts and I did nog have the time to wire up things.  Today I had the time. It worked.  I used a fibaro dimmer I had laying around to replace the MiLight. The MiLights are still used…
