jovink said: Erwin i use a kaku asun 650 for It. Connect to the wires from the switch. Of course that will work, but I'd rather have Homey 'talk' to the Venset TV-lift directly...

Kick. Does anyone have the time, knowledge and will to build an app for the Venset TV-Lift? It would be greately appreciated!
-
@Priknr1 Curious to know if you have made any progress.

@Priknr1 Too bad the result was disappointing. But very cool that you are busy with it. Take your time and keep us posted! Good luck.

Nice work Priknr1! If and when you've got a running version of the app, I would love to receive a copy!

Very cool! Gotta love all the possibilities with homey!

@ Yannick, did you make any progress on building an app yourself?

@priknr1 and @caseda Lets make it a contest Who can build the first working app for these devices... That would be cool, or in this context HOT I have these devices now for some time and they are just collecting dust at the moment. It would…

Installed fine with only the 'already downloading' message. I even did it remotely (from work!)

@BasVanDenBosch I somehow missed your comment, but I'll take a look at this later this week. Maybe I'll be able to figure it out and perhaps make an App. Thanks!

Also support for the H-series would be greatly appreciated! My UE55H7000 is (sometimes) found by the app, but it causes multiple reboots of my TV when I switch my TV on. And sometimes my TV is not found anymore...

A gentle kick...

My hat is off to the guys at Athom! Since the 0.10.0 build they really are able to fix bugs in a high pace! Nicely done! Keep up the good work guys! Only one minor downside is that I now seem to no longer be able to actually choose a flow in my …

Apparently it's possible to control the Venset TV Lift by selecting the KAKU SUN-500 device. But it only makes the lift go up, but not down... By having Homey send the down signal, the Venset receiver does receive a signal (a red light comes on) but…

Indeed, sigh! Apparently some people get offended even when that's obviously not my intention (that's why I even stated that my comment wasn't meant offensively). And some people also don't get, or don't want to get, that it really doesn't matter …

In my case the Axa Remote opens a window on the ground floor and as such it's pretty easy to gain access to my house through this open window. That's why I wouldn't want an unsecured KaKu device being able to open it. This would make it very easy fo…

@Bumblez jeez dude, get over yourself. If you don't like it when people don't just take your opinion as the only truth, then maybe you should reconsider posting on forums. The only thing I said was that it would be a cool feature and that IF it wh…

Jon said: hi @Erwin1 it won't work. Axa uses some kind of encrypted IR technology that seems to fluctuate everytime the button is pressed. I have tried it with Homey, but also with Harmony and other repeaters, no luck at all. Also see: https://…

Guys, good news! IR now does seem to work (after another reboot and clearing all IR devices)! But when Homey stands 6 meters away and at a 45 degree angle, it's apparently to far to be received by the Samsung TV. The TV remote does work from this …

I've created an issue on GitHub for the IR: https://github.com/athombv/homey/issues/937

Anyone else having problems with their IR? Both custom IR device (training the buttons) and Samsung TV built in IR doesn't seem to be sending an IR signal. I've added these devices separately (so not one directly after the other) and also tested t…
