I'm using it for a lot of Home automation tasks for more then a year now. Interaction with Homey is done by MQTT (secured by including SSL and authorisation). This way I can communicate a lot of different protocols and devices. Works like a charm!

Connecting a S7 PLC to Domotica systems is one of my whishlist. At this moment I'm using a Raspberry Pi with Node-Red for a lot of automation tasks (interaction with Homey is done by MQTT, see Athom app-store). I didn't try it, but in Node-Red ther…

Just for info, I'm using a Everspring SP-104 outdoor zwave movement sensor, connected to my Fibaro HC2, for more then 5 years. The device is solid and waterproof (IP44, placed beneath overhang) and batteries only have to be changed once a year (dep…

jorden said: BTW I have decided to put keep the option to use your own bot in future versions. Good call @jorden ! It's highly appreciated!

The new version will have some options removed: - The "custombot" settings will be removed, only the default bot is available. Do you mean you will remove the possibility to use your own bot, instead of a bot you control? If so, as I ment…

Any progress on this?

Nice to hear it's working, @Ypolit! I'm still have to figure out how to communicate with authorisation enabled, though....

Thank you @HansieNL. I revived your topic...

Any progress on this? My WiFi isn't stable enough to reliable control my house due a lot of neighbor interference. If I read this topic right, a Linux compatible usb-to-ethernet adapter should work? Is there a compatible usb-hub on the market to s…

To bad, the connections are still fragile. It keeps losing it's connection from time to time... When checking my Wireless 2.4 GHz neighborhood, it's very crowded. I think this could be the problem. The Unifi controller is reporting a lot of interfe…

Ypolit said: Yes, I have created the 2 variables. and is changed the %s to '%20' Why? %s means 'any whitespace character'. Also, can you add the global variable trigger: --[[ %% properties %% events %% globals SC_Homey_Command --]] …

Did you made a global variable in your HC2 called SC_Homey_Command and SC_Homey_Value? You have to add this in the Variables Panel.
-
Just out of curiosity, can it operate when blocked/without an internet connection?

When using the whitelist option with api authorization enabled, non authorized communication mentioned on the whitelist appear not being accepted. {"status":401,"result":"no_auth_method_found"} (communication from a Fibaro HC lua scene using HTTP-…

The suggestion, made by @Julian to change the bandwidth to HT40, looks promising after 2 days! I will now try to connect my Thinking Cleaner Roomba faceplate to see if this device is also getting a more stable connection. I´ll keep you posted!

I 'tricked' the Homey by using a standard router with the same wireless settings. Also my Thinking Cleaner faceplate for Roomba 500/600 is losing connection often. Now it is connected, but if it is stable, time will tell. Julian said: Am …

Okay! Thank you @MrDutchfighter @glijie @HansieNL @DieterKoblenz I think I get it!

Thank you @HansieNL for your explanation. I thought it read, somewhere on this forum a while ago, they would fix that in future releases..... I have just to wait and see...
-
Thanks @Peao for your respond! I'm already using the app, but I was wondering if it would/could be implemented in Athom's media update.
-
When disabling automatic updates, I still can't disable the experimental update option.
-
Thank you so very much @0burner0 ! Installed it and going to leave it open for a day while testing.

Just a question, will Squeezeserver (older Logitech devices, but still used a lot) also be supported in the (near) future? Can you add it to your list?

FYI, issue #1247 posted on GitHub. I'm curious how it will be received and handled....
