Decommissioning the WebUI is a big mistake as far as I am concerned. An app is nice but should be considered as an add-on, not a replacement. I am not surprised it takes Atom such a long time to release the app. It must be a daunting task to keep th…

Emile said: Did you draw this in PCPaint? Brilliant! As for the issue, Z-Wave wasn't invented when MS-DOS was around so we cannot give you any support, unfortunately. I would not have the patience for PCPaint. It took me 10 minutes in H…

I use Homeyduino in combination with an ESP8266 + relay for my (warm water) heater. The heater automatically switches off after 10 minutes of shower use to prevent huge energy bills. It works fine. I had to add a function + flow to check whether the…

Patience is a clean business...... (;

I am also still waiting for this app.

Maybe no solution for everyone but an ultrasound sensor connected to an WiFi ESP8266 (Wemos) board with a Homeyduino sketch would do the job. Should not cost more than about € 10,00. With Homeyduino the possibilities are endless and cheap.

I would already be happy if the desktop-app and/or Chrome interface stays. I would be very disappointed if there's only a smartphone interface left which might be fine for dwarfs with tiny sneaky fingers but not suitable for a middle-aged angry guy …

I think you are lucky to have a wired alarm system. Nothing can beat old-school wires. The other day I conducted a test with my 433Mhz alarm system. When I just kept on pressing a button on my Elro 433Mhz remote control the alarm didn't work at all.…

DaneeDeKruyff said: Thanks guys. @larsmachiels @ThijsDeJong Adding more sensors is possible, there are enough alarm types exposed by Homey like alarm_smoke, alarm_fire and alarm_heat. But also others like alarm_co, alarm_co2 etc. How would y…

Super app! I am using it for a couple of weeks now and it does exactly what it is supposed to do. It would be even better if smoke and heat alarms could be added to the device list. But overall: Perfect job!

Unfortunately outdoor PIR sensors are not that reliable (sun, animals). The best would be to have more than one so there is more certainty detecting humans. I am working on a Wemos PIR + Ultrasound sensor which can be connected to Homey. Hopefully t…

DaneeDeKruyff: Thanks for adding the delayed armed status and the extra trigger card! Now my flows can be even cleaner and meaner without any work-arounds. Great!

I think it should be possible to have multiple triggers (AND and. OR 's) in the "when" part of the flow (without the need of an additional app). Technically it should be feasible I think.

Thanks a lot! Soon I will be able to simplify my alarm system thanks to your great app.
-
That sounds like a great improvement! If I may make another suggestion: Maybe it is an idea to implement a trigger for when the countdown timer starts. In that way it would be possible to create a flow that for example generates a "beep sound" befor…

Great app. It would be nice to have 2 monitor colums for both "Armed" and "Partially armed" so you can select the devices which are active for when there is somebody at home (during the night) and for when there is nobody at home (vacation). Ano…

@DaneeDeKruyff, I'd like to test it too.

Ik denk dat ze wat uit te leggen hebben bij Athom. Ik hoop voor hun dat de patenten verlopen zijn.

My wife is very lazy and sometimes stops moving completely. It happened several times that the lights turned off while she was in the kitchen. Please help.

Got it. When the window opens I start a count-up timer. When the windows closes I use the value of the count-up timer and divide that by 60 and store the result to a variable (with the better logic math.js card). I stop the count-up counter and I se…

Thanks to everyone for the answers. Stupid question maybe: but how can I access variables in for example the "Voice" then card? Are there any global variables? I tried {{$timenow$}} and a self defined better logic variable for example but then they …

When I cannot work with a normal screen (>= 15") and keyboard I'll get crazy. It will degrade Homey from a semi-professional into an amature system.
