Yes, please create an amazon dot integration with Homey! The IFTTT workaround does work very well, but it takes to long and I don't like the required word "trigger" in the command.
-
Well, 3 months later I'm still very satisfied with eQ-3 MAX! And I still hope someone of you - genius developers - would be able to create a Homey app.
-
Pils MAX Cube does give back the current room temperature. But the official browser-app show the current room temperature with an additional wall-component only. The 3d party Android app "MAX! Remote" shows the current room temperature - measured b…
-
That's nice! But unfortunately I'm not a developer. I hope some of dev-backers here could help. That would be awesome!
-
BTW: the internet connection to the MAX! portal is not required to control the heating system over WiFi. F.e. there is an Android app "MAX! Remote" - it connects direct to the local IP of the MAX! Cube LAN Gateway.
-
Hi guys. Is a gateway required or can I use this app and Homey to connect straight to the thermostats and control them with Homey? Thanks!
-
@Menno Glad to hear that. I have also bought 2 more receivers for only 16 EUR and now my Homey can trigger all IR devices across my house (almost 30m distance!): 1. bedroom (air purifier, alarm clock/radio) 2. livingroom (air conditioning, stereo,…
-
Exactly that's the point: I have lot of IR devices across the house and I want to control them with just Homey! That for you need IR extenders which converts signals to 433 and significantly increases the distance - this is the simplest solution. An…
-
@AlwinDocter I think you didn't understand what Homey is. And you can't compare it with any other smart-home system out there. First of all you have to see Homey as an universal hub for different protocols and smart-home systems: this is because of …
-
So the great idea would be: to let Homey convert IR signals to 433 MHz and send them out.
-
nope. unfortunately not.
-
Jon. The transmission of Homey through Ebode are very stable so far. The "line of sight" of receiver-pyramids is almost 360 degrees (because of the antenna). So there is no need to position devices face to face. This way you can "hide" those pyramid…
-
And in my opinion this is a better solution than KLIKR - since you don't need a separate receiver for every device you'd like to control.
-
Good morning, guys! I have some great experience to share with you. If you are interested in using Homey to control a lot of IR devices - this is the best solution for me so far: EBODE PM10C Wireless Infrared Extender: http://www.ebodeelectronics…
-
jjtbsomhorst what if you put your Homey higher? - just try something higher than 1,5 meters. Of course I can't say at what exact angle the connection is broken. My Homey stands on a shelf approx. 1.90 high. The soundbar is standing on the floor (20…

Rocodamelshe since IFTTT triggers only once (you can check this on the webhook-page) I suppose this is a Homey issue.
-
Well. The webhook page shows me only 1 request. But Homey releases the according flow 3 times. So this shouldn't be an IFTTT issue. Strange.
-
Hello guys. Everything works fine but every IFTTT recipe fires 3 times. Means the according flow inside Homey repeats 3 times! Any idea?
-
ErikVanDongen This would make sense and in my opinion is a very important security feature.
-
I have 0.8.29 and no difference between 1% - 99%. Same brightness level. PS: OK, I can see some minor brightness changes at 1%-4%. But the light is still very bright.
-
This is kinda scary: if you know the Homey's ID of an user (who's using HTTP request flow cards App) you can execute every flow-action in its house/flat. You just have to find out the name of that flow/action and can trigger the action over the bro…
-
Great stuff! It means KLIKR is transforming bluetooth to IR signals? So Homey could communicate directly with KLIKR "buttons" over bluetooth and control the IR-devices out of the Homey's range?
-
Thanks! With the v1.1.2 the bulbs are working fine now. Now I can't wait to see the hue-functionality inside of the flow-editor!
-
Hello guys, after several tests with IR range and signal recognition - here are my findings: I made tests with simple ON/OFF functionality with 2 different devices: Yamaha Soundbar, Comedes Air Purifier. The IR range of Homey is not that bad: wi…
