  He's saying that since Emile said 'around the 8th', they could also be send tomorrow or the day after. He's asking to not start endless discussions about these small delays when people don't get any PostNL confirmation by the end of today.

  I think "managing expectations" is the trick for this thread (full with entertainment en joy  ).
  If an about date is mentioned, the majority expects an action on this date or in a timeframe in their favor. In this case "Geek Homey's will be send around the 8th" is translated by "impatient minds" to "I get my Homey on the 8th at the latest, but probably in the weekend before"

  The next delivery dates will be determined accordingly in the following week, according to how well this batch is received. You can understand we don't want to be flooded with support calls :-)
