I can see @homey insights
'set temperature' -> but it only registers the value once
solar intensity -> working OK
Outside temperature -> working OK
Humidity -> not logging
I do not see the current temperature of the thermostat in the logging??
should (could) this be solved?
i deleted it and saved under settings my password and added the device from scratch but no effect.
see screenshot:

and bug report:
https://github.com/athombv/homey/issues/875
after triple click (wake up the Sensor) the temperature is displayed! Lux Not, but i will wait.
But ny tado Thermostat has no "wake up" function like the zwave Sensor.
Would it be possible add this to the app as action flow card? This could be used to activate tado`s Home and Away state.
Geo location = Home location = at Home
Geo location = South pole = Away.
I've ordered both the Tado Cooling and the Valves product, and should hopefully arrive somewhere in October. By then I hope most of the issues with Homey (0.10) will be fixed, and more stable.
Currently my Homey is completely fscked after the update to 0.10, a lot of settings options have disappeared, and all devices are gone. So I probably need to force a factory reset.
So, after Homey has stabilized, I'll work on updating the Tado app further for all the new Homey API changes, and start working on supporting both the Cooling and Valves products from Tado.
@honey: geo options are on the todo list, but currently not high priority.
@phil_s: did you try turning if off and on again? (pun intended)
@JurgenHuijbregts: I'm aware of these issues. But I'm waiting for the Homey API to stabilize a little bit.
So, you can probably expect a new release of the Tado app either at the end of October or beginning of November.
so i will slowly extend my tado System. And so i can wait for your App. I am glad that there is somebody (you) who can code this App!
Please let us know when you are working on it.
Greeds
Yes, great work, thnx, very much appreciated
Don't reset! The pending update (0.10.1) will fix it!
Then an try to add the tado device.
@ZperX This means the app has crashed or killed for a reason.
First, remove the app from Homey's Devices.
Check your Tado login and password under Homey Settings > Tado.
Try the login and password on https://my.tado.com, it should log you in.
Now, reinstall the Tado app under Homey's Devices.
Just tried it myself, and worked.
@phil_s @MarcelTimmermans After a reinstall of the app, I now receive details again on the Tado card.
So, 0.10.1 helped.
Unfortunately the set temperature does not get updated anymore. If I change the set temp (on tado or in the tado app) the set temp in homey doesn't get updated.
Here's what I'd like to get:
When set-temp is higher then inside-temp then variable heating is true
when (var.) heating is true switch on floorheating pump (elro switch)
when (var.) heating is false switch off floorheating pump (elro switch)
when the pump is off for 24 hrs switch it on for 2 min. (so it won't get stuck)
The login name and password is positively correct. I done it with copy paste as well. Works on the tado website.
It is somethings else going on.
it pushes alwas on humidity changed, but the value is always 37.
also humidtiy is not shown in my insights in homey.
temperature and target-temperatue are shown correct.
Also 100% sure password and username are correct.
Is there a solution?
- what is your Homey version
- what is your Tado Homey app version
- what is your Tado version: available in the mobile Tado app, at the bottom of the menu. For reference, mine is 2.13.2 (1500292266)
- do you know which generation Tado thermostat you have ? Possibilities: v1 (+-2013), v2 (2014-2015) or v3 (2016-). Mine is v1. I'll receive a v3 soon.
- how many Tado zones/homes do you have
- how many Tado thermostats do you have in each zone
- do you have other Tado products in the same zones
the bridge is v2 and i just recieved a mail from tado that the upgrade to v3-bridge will delay a bit.
i have no problems to include my thermostat into homey! but i must do it every firmware update from homey again because with every new update of homey the devicecard looses the values.
humidity isn't shown in insight and is always 37% when you let homey say it. but the tado ios-app say it is 47 or 50% (changing normaly).
my tado version (iOS): Version 3.1 (3205)
only one zone. Planing for a second thermostat with the New bridge.
hope i can help you so far ;-)
Homey: 0.10.3 (but had all the other versions and it never worked)
Tado: The most common V2
The android app version is 3.1.0 However I believe it is not relevant.
App version: 0.5.2
Other products: No
Zones: 1
Number of thermostats:1
Hopefully this fixes most problems.
