Support for Onkyo receivers

Onkyo has a wide range of receivers that has an network connection and the ability to connect several online stream services. Also its possible to control the receiver with an android app and/or Vera3 plugin.
It would be great if Homey could also control Onkyo receivers.

AFAIK my NR-709 doesn't use 38W in standby and with the Android App i can power up my receiver without any problem.
In the app its not possible to powerup the receiver.
But it should be possible for homey to powerup the receiver with its powerful IR.
It does, with the settings you'd need to power it on/off by its Ethernet cable. (I'm a fan of wired stuff..) Check http://blog.hekkers.net/2011/06/15/keeping-av-power-consumption-acceptable/ for more info.
I have an Onkyo TX-NR636 and I use Spotify Connect and Tune-in Radio.
Also, I have set up "Hybrid Standby" so the Onkyo powers on by use of the IOS app or Ethernet control.
+1 !
+1 for the +1's !
plusone
- i would like to set the volume by a spoken command or in a scene directly to a value
- Feedback from the device to show may in an app
- decrease volume for a telephone call or communicate with a people at the door
special Onkyo +2
this is a MUST have!
I have an Onkyo TX-NR636, how cool would it be, just to start an operate the receiver with voice commands
it works good (Currently only basics tested).
The auto-recognition for my TX-NR807 do not work!
In the documentation from Onkyo the auto-recognation with the UDP Package used in above implementation is only for Onkyo receivers from 2011 or newer.
For me i had to set the IP, Port and Receiver-Modell manually.
