We would love to use this wired in an 'enterprise' environment

We would like to see if the homey can perform in a enterprise environment to control our lounge, lighting, PA system, beamer, beamer screen. However to make this absolutely work it would be needing a wired connection for reliability due to interference.
Is there a wired (ethernet/usb) possibility ?

It is not possible yet. They might use some usb/ ethernet converter but that is not officially announced.

Just place an accesspoint with dedicated SSID near the Homey. Just as safe as a chip that can burn in youre usb ethernet or the USB port of the Homey.
