Eaton xComfort Wireless Switch CSAU-01/02

When I was cleaning up our stockroom at work I found some wireless switches by Eaton. So I was wondring if it is possible to connect these to homey. Does anyone have any experience with these switches? Does anyone have these connected to homey?

In the past I had some EATON devices working on X10 protocol, not sure if these xComfort devices react on X10?
X10 is available for Homey so you probably can try it (maybe you need a device that is converting X10(rf) to X10(powerline)?

  • I gonna try, however the app does support 334Mhz devices and I thougt that the xComfort was working on 868. Maybe I'm wrong...

Today I had the time to try some things with this device. No luck so far. In the X10 app you had to choose location and a number don't know what this is for the xComfort Device.
  • Hi,

have anyone tested if its possible to get som of the Eaton stuff in with Homey?

i think they are using 868 mhz so it might be possible?

    Development in 868 :

    Recording signals :

    And also:

I wonder if you get a signal in the current implementation when you try to record 868?

I don't know Eaton 868 MHz specifics, but note that currently Homey only listens to amplitude modulated signals at 868 MHz (when recording on the console). It can listen to FSK signals, but only 2 seconds after sending.

According to Athom (Jeroen) an option to record FSK signals in the console is forthcoming.

  • This is an potential-free contact. FOr example: You can switch an relais or an gasboiler and etc.

    HI,

Does anyone knows if there is an app for Eaton devices on the Homey.
I just bought a hanging lamp with Eaton dimmer controlled by a CTAA-01/04-LED switch to switch the light on/off and dim the lights.

Would like to control it on my Homey.
I search the forum but item about Eaton are more then a year old.

Anyone experience how to get it working on the Homey?

    Thanks in advance,
    Patrick
  • I haven't seen any Eaton app yet,
as theer have been more questions about Eaton devices I merged the discussions.
