Tried all of these. However it is impossible to close or open my curtains (forest) or awning (somfy) with voice command... Homey even tells me "closing curtains" or "closing window covers; closing covers", but nothing happens.

    Created an issue.  https://github.com/athombv/homey/issues/638

Anyone been able to open or close forest curtains or somfy awning by voice command?
With the recent forest app update 0.11.1, and homey version 0.9.3, my forest curtains can be closed and opened by speech. whooohoo... very happy...

Was short lived though since I saw my patio sunsceen extend / open in the pitch dark behind the closing curtains. The sunscreen is somfy, and a "reverse" logic is required to open and close it. I need to say "close" to extend / open it... and "open" to retract / close it. Apparently curtains, blinds and sunscreens are all considered the same, and al opened or closed with the same command.

Anyways. Progress is made, and we seem to be getting closer and closer!
  • Forest Shuttle seems a nice silent solution, but i would like to use it with the Z-wave + receiver.
According to the Forest App in the Appstore , this app supports RF only?!
Is it possible to use it with homey thru Z-Wave as a Generic device for example?
Does anyone have experience with this configuration?

  • @TinCup maybe the guys from RobShop know this (https://www.robbshop.nl/forest-shuttle-gordijnrail-systeem)
I'm useing an older version of the Forrest system myself. Connected the control wires to a fibaro double relay to make it z-waveable.
