Media player Slice on Kickstarter, they also have the led 'ring'

Hi Guys,

Looking forward to my homey, and all that will be possible with it!

Since last week I am also a backer of Slice, see https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/fiveninjas/slice-a-media-player-and-more. They also have a led 'ring' on their machine, similar (I think) as the Homey, and the Slice is also driven by a Raspberry Pi. They are building an app to program/control the led functionality, perhaps it would be interesting to see if you guys are doing/wanting the same thing to avoid doing things double :-) Also I assume the Slice is completely compatible with the Homey! One remark, in your promo the guy asks Homey to watch Star Trek which starts through Plex, but is this also possible with eg the Slice (which has XBMC as its base).

And would it also be possible to import (or have Homey import them via the login credentials?) the activities one has on a Logitech Remote? I have put quite an effort to program this and was hoping for a short cut to avoid doing it all over again for Homey (although that is sometimes half of the fun!).

Yeah! We've had contact with them already! Our LED will work a bit different because it's a circle, but we're definitely all about exchanging ideas.

Importing Harmony settings is probably not going to happen, as we work differently. It's still super easy to set everything up though!
