Secondary controller into homey

Hi All,
Couldn't find this on the forum.
I found one or two topics adding homey as a secondary controller into another network.
But I have a Duwi DUW_064459. Which is besiacally a remote, which supports being added as secondary controller.

However, when I try to add it into homey, homey does state it recognizes the device as controller, but when it gets to the ossociation part, it loses connection to the remote.
Anyone has any experience? Is this something people from athom should have a look at?
