Location time schema

is it possible to track my location (for geofence) in a smart way ( for example like flitsmeister, only tracking when moving)? And load geofence places within the app so the app updates homey when the geofence is tresspassed. In this way your more accurate then sending your location every x time which costs also more battery.
Or as a alternative a schema where you can set how often to check your location. (During night none and during rushhour every x min)

    We are using device standards for geofencing :)

    I know Google and Apple send their raw data to their servers to interpret for location data which can be used for apps on the phone (like Google already does with it's Google Now).
    This way its much more battery friendly...
