adding nest

hello,

tried to add the nest in my room layer, it sais follow instructions, but nothing happens. also from the settings menu, tried the wizard to give permission. after giving permission from the nest website the setup icon in hue turns round and nothing happens

the popup of nest is being blocked by your ad-blocker, disable it, or add the url of homey to the whitelist

no i don't have an ad-blocker, the nest page is there and i did push the accept button but then nothing happens

if you go to Settings -> Nest, is the button "allow homey to use your nest devices" grayed out?
if it is then your acceptance has been finished, if not try again.

after that you still need to add your nest as device in homey.

PS:
If you are not using chrome, then i would advice you to do so, there are some scripts used by homey that only are supported by the chrome browser.

i use chrome and i tried to add nest as a device. it just shows a blank window with in the header Follow the instructions. there are no buttons to select from

i'm talking about homey's settings page, but looking at your reaction it still not accepted, but also looking at your reaction it still looking like you have an add-blocker (that's the only reason i can think of that it could stays blank.)

try looking at the chrome console when your trying to include it as a device, and see if it gives any errors
right click on an open spot on the background, and select "inspect"
or press " Ctrl + Shift + i "

The popup might use the blocker-settings from IE or firefox, at least that was discovered back in june:

Removing and installing the app again worked
