Sound problems

Yust recieved my (dutch) Homey yesterday but...
Homey speaks only after a delay of 20-40 second ones and also creaks and stutters horrible
Suggestions anyone to solve this?

    is an know issue, athom is looking in to it

    That is indeed a known issue. But what I noticed is that when you change the speaking speed ( instellingen-> spraak / Settings->speech) I is somewhat better.

    i can confirm that it works,  i put mine on slowest.
    but,   for a several weeks i found out , i had a flow, witch was working all the time.  when i diabled this it went better. So, this also can be a course..

    Mine is on slowest also, no stutter or delays here.

    I tried a slower pace but stil having problems. Especially with a second sentence in the speach.
    I'll wait for a fix from athom.

    I had exactly the same problem. I was able to fix it by changing my location settings from manual to automatic.
    This also fixed the timezone problem. When I asked homey what time it was, it was 2 hours earlier that my local time.
    Strange, but somehow this was related in my case. Reboot or PTP was not a solution.

    I was too quick, being happy.
    This morning the problem with the sound was back. Strange.
    The timezone issue is fixed.

    Just a statement of Athom "our servers are overloaded" or something like that would be enough.

    This  has nothing  to do with overloaded servers. The speech-out processing is done on your Homey. But as @ThijsDeJong said, Athom is on it. @JeroenVollenbrock may need more testcases?

    After the last reboot the speech improved a little with less creaks. But for now it is very slow. A sample of four sentences text  (the weather) takes about 4 minutes to proces. So still some issues to fix.

    After I changed the speed of the voice in my homey the stuttering has gone almost completely. Only on very heavy hours such as 20:00 or something it sometimes does. So the statement 'This has nothing to do with overloaded servers' somehow does not seem to be 100% correct.
