Motion sensor help

I'm having difficulty to setup my homey to turn on the light when the motion sensor detects movement.
anyone knows how to do this in a flow, because the motion sensor does not have the option "if movement".

  • Need some more info, what kind of motion sensor?

It seems like you are using the 2.7 version of the sensor.

Which makes the "Motion Alarm" being "General Alarm", which also triggers on "Tamper Alarm" so take this into consideration.

This might change with the Z-Wave Re-write, but isn't going to happen now.
  • Ok tnx, just for my understanding what is the difference in this case between Motion Alarm and Tamper Alarm?

Motion = on infrared motion in front of it (you for example),
Tamper = movement of the device itself (they call it earthquake detection)
  • Ok then what am I doing wrong, because this flow is not working

Homey firmware 0.8.39 is what your "doing wrong"
There is a bug with triggering on the z-wave devices

  • Hello, I have the same problems. I received my homey yesterday. firmware is updated to 1.0. I use the Fibaro Motionsensor z-wave plus. Could it be that the problem still exist? Even a simple flow like shown in the picture (ehen motion tuen light on) above dont' work.
