Gira switches an recievers

edited February 2015 in Questions & Help
Guys, I have a question.
Does Homey support the following RF switches and receivers?
http://www.gira.com/en/gebaeudetechnik/systeme/funk-bussystem/empfaenger.html

I have to know as I am in the middle of the reconstruction of my house and need to choose switched etc.
I looked at the KAKU stuff also, the only con is that they only have white switches and Gira has many different types.

thanks!

Cheers, Stefan.

  • It's 433Mhz, so there would be a good chance it will work. If they use a protocol that Homey knows :)

That's what I was thinking too, but I was reading that Homey uses 433.92 MHz and Gira uses 433.42 MHz.....
And my noob level is to high to know the difference, or to know if this will work ;)

    Oh that's the same :)
  • So what about a protocol? Are these receivers working for sure?
  • Emile, are you sure it will work?
Help a noob ;) , I have to order my stuff tomorrow.

Well, I haven't tested them so I cant say for sure.. the chance that they will work is high, though. If you want to be safe, get KlikAanKlikUit

    Hi Emile,

    my homey is in :-).
    thanks a lot.
My new house in almost finished.
It is going to be totally smart ;-).
I was wondering if the Gira enet works with homey. Klik aan klik uit is fun but not for the long term in your house. And not save with security etc And a lot of other issues. I already love the gira enet system. Easy to use. And if this will work with homey. Get ready to rumble :-)

    Can you help me out?
