I'd like to enable/disable the motion sensor on my foscams when I leave/come home (it spams my mailbox when someone is home because of all the movement.
This is possible with something like this: http://YOURIP:YOURPORT/cgi-bin/CGIProxy.fcgi?cmd=setMotionDetectConfig&isEnable=1&linkage=10&snapInterval=2&sensitivity=1&triggerInterval=5

Will we be able to integrate this into a flow?

Wauw, that url was I'm looking for my Foscam, I have the same problem as you on my gmail I'm gonna test now if it works, I had the string before  "linkage"" now I can try if this is the right one!

    That's a tricky nickname for a woman  ;)

Kickstarter Amaryllo iCamPro FHD first 360° auto-tracking security robot

Are you happy with it? Does it work as advertised?
I wanted to back it too, but had my doubts about it...
  • @Fire69 I have the same, and it works pretty well.
I found out that the sensor isn’t IR operated.
It looks for heat. (so it isn’t able to look through windows) and react on what is sees.
It moves Oké and can follow you pretty need as long there is a offset of 6ft. (My experience)
The notifications on my Ipad are a bit slow, but they are working on it.
In the near future there will be an option to create ignore areas and focus areas.
The privacy mode (turns the camera away, and the sensor off)  is just one click on the app and it is off. It is also possible to schedule the privacy mode throughout the week. So if you know when you will be away or when you will be at home you can plan the privacy mode upfront.

We don't (officially) support camera's until later, when the super-awesome-camera module is ready :)

Is this camera module a hardware or is it a software module?

Software I guess. A module to show camerafeeds in the Homey-interface.

Any News on this Forum Line @Emile ?
    Amaryllo would be Nice!!!!!

  • Then again
@Emile Will Amaryllo be supported than?

  • @Emile any news?
Did a PM on kickstarter to ask the same question.
  • I am interested in showing a camerafeed in the Homey interface as well. What camera will be supported? Is there already an app?

We really have to test this thoroughly. Constant image processing will use up a lot of resources, and may therefore decrease overall performance. We'll of course start with letting the camera itself do the work, and using Homey to receive motion events.
Any idea yet if that will require MJPEG or if you will support RSTP streams and/or H264 codec? I'm about purchase a couple of cameras and wondering if I should have MJPEG support on the requirements list...
