Step 1 - get the SID:
Step 2 - example, start recording camera 1

I don't know if this still works, tried it more then a year ago. Would be nice to use HTTPS.
I hope I have you started.
I think you need an account on the 'main' Synology because you first log in to the API, generate a SID, and then I have to 'ask' the API where I can find the API for Surveillance Station. This is because they mention in the manual that those paths can change, and I found a lot of none-working code (because the path to some parts of the system indeed changed).
However, I focussed mainly on getting the code to work. I didn't really explore which settings worked and which didn't.
I'm unable to add a camera because for some reason after selecting a camera and clicking next this screen appears 'new devices are being added' and nothing happens after that.
I have waited for half an hour once.
No problem logging in to my Synology and finding the camera.
Any suggestions?
If you run it in Developer mode (https://developers.athom.com), do you see any errors?
I'm not sure, maybe you can tell. I’ve added the debugging file.
But when testing a flow with :
Does not mail a photo.
Also running the flow with actualy pushing the doorbell is not emailing the photo.
Should i first take a photo before i can mail it?
Taking a snapshot works and he is saving it on the Synology.
In Surveillance station my backyard cam starts recording when motion.
If is send the text /SNAP to telegram nothing happens?? Didnt get a message back.
In homey I want a flow like:
When backyardcam is recording THEN send telegram message.
In the message I want a photo of the recording.
Hmmm telegram is not responding to /say Hello either.
Recieving does work
In your info you mention I should look on /User/@snapshot on my Synology but there is no /User/@snapshot folder on my disk (where I of course replace 'User' by my username on the Synology.
Could you be a bit more specific where the snapshots should be stored and what could be the reason that it doesn't seem to be there?
@Jon did you find them already?
Really hope that Athom will be able to seriously increase the signal reach for 433.
This one makes it possible to create a new action "Take snapshot as token". It takes a snapshot, and then triggers the new "A snapshot was taken" card which has a token "snapshot" that contains the image data. You can put that snapshot token into the new Telegram app "Send image" card to send an image. Quite cool
I installed both Apps via cli. Found the token card
This does not sent a Telegram message but also not an test e-mail:
