It's really cheap and a not-that-great camera, especially the ancient software that they deliver it with... but image quality is okay, and excellent if you think of the price of the camera! You need to buy a power cable yourself though, if you don't have one lying around.
Since you can use Surveillance station and Homey you don't have to bother with the software that comes with it. However, there are no special features like motion detection.

@jorden My usb cam connected to synology now also makes pics after Fibaro detects movement  and  email notification works fine !

hi @Jorden, I'm trying to hook up my email account to send pictures but somehow this doesnt work. I get the message that the Greeting never received. See screenshot.
Any idea how to fix this?

@Jon probably they require a secure connection. I will update this soon so you can set SSL to true or false.

Try these links to hookup the Xiaomi Ip camera. 

Forum thread where you can get the modified firmware. (actually its the firmware where the RTSP stream is enabled and more..)

New version submitted to the app store (not yet approved).

Version 1.1.0

- Removed requirement of external node modules, which makes the package much smaller

- Now supports multiple Synology NAS devices, settings get stored per camera

- Login & Logout per action, to support multiple NAS devices and at the same time this prevents a lockout when Synology decides the session ID has expired

- Settings page now has a 'Use encrypted connection' setting that you can use if your mail provider supports (or requires) it. (@Jon this is for you, let me know if this works)

- Settings page now has an 'enable polling' button. If you check this, Homey will check the status of every camera every 10 seconds. This enables the triggers.

So this means, if you want an action to happen when the camera starts recording, you can do this now. Even if it not initialised by Homey. However, you need to enable polling first. Within 10 seconds Homey will know.

just installed 1.1.0 from app store and it does seem to work (strange thing is this version was crashing when installed from github)

Might be because I accidentally removed a module and forgot to reinclude it on Github. I fixed it before I submitted it again today.

Hmm, cannot get it to work in a flow somehow. Installation goes ok, I have made a flow that when the camera starts recording it sends a snapshot to my e-mail. When I press the test flow button it works. But it has never send me a snapshot, even though I can see the camera has started recording numerous times?!? Did I miss or forgot something?

Did you enable polling on the settings page? Otherwise it doesn't check the status of the cam.

You mean "schakel statuschecks in". Yes this box is ticked. I assumed this was the polling of the camera.
