I can confirm @Rocodamelshe 's answer. there is a so called "example value" that get's used when the test button is pressed. it can cause a lot of issues if we don't use that example value.
-
@keverjeroen If the value is the same as before it won't be shown in the insights, if you open the data log out will show it
-
also power cycle the bridge, it is a combination of that fix on hue bridge and the recent rewrite of the hue app
-
@RobinVanKekem no problem already thought something like that happened
-
@RobinVanKekem ; you no like my PR? or are you just worser then athom

@djesko is it the z-wave plus version?
-
funny that they call it 40 and 40,5 khz, that's an IR standard, not even RF, don't know what the range of homey's IR is though, need to look that up in the ir led specs
-
@Menno ok, it became a little bit of a crude drawing but it should work, and sorry that it took so long Near the wall switch it is almost the same as what you did in the video, the only change is that the second output of your switch isn't goi…

try pressing it multiple times, not just 3 times

yep that is all the information i need to draw you something if you followed the instruction it will become a little bit different then what i first had in mind, but actually even a little bit easier will need one edit inside homey to get it workin…

@nteuniss that is the one i mean, in the reset it will first update to 1.0.2, since you have experimental checked then you will get the question if you want to keep your data or start fresh had the same issue and could keep the data just fine to g…
-
@Menno i'll draw you a simple schematic this evening, so you can do it tomorrow how many wires do you have in the old dimmer box, just the feed (brown wire) and 2 switching wires? (black) and do you have a feed in the box, or nearby where the cabl…

go into reset mode, and do the update in there (asked automatically), you can still keep your data
-
@Chielvb let the motion sensor hang in it spot for a while after you re-included it, it can take up to 2-4 hours for the sensor to find homey through the mesh network (yes , even if you have only a few devices) that is not homey's fault, it's how zw…
-
@Roppiee there is, but only if you know how to code, it's not displayed anywhere at the moment
-
@CorvdNiet ; The settings only get applied when the sensor wakes up, either manually by pressing the b button 3x or waiting for it to wakeup automatically max 2 hours It can go wrong with the automatic wake up , so if you want to be sure it is sav…

@nlbabal it can be a mistake/bug in the secure data parser that makes the range get lower, a bug can cause that, the signal needs to be perfect, if it is off by a little bit, or there is too much noise that is not handelend correctly (there is A LO…
-
@Peter4209 and that's why we need to find out WHAT is wrong and rule out everything. You say a lot of people but there are more people that have it working, so it's most likely a certain situation that is causing it, just saying "my motion doesn't…
-
@Roppiee Reviewing your issues, they are all related to zwave plus's secure part (dimmer 2 you also needed to make the signals non secure) and the motion sensor plus making the network unstable. Please contact support@athom.com explaining your si…
-
@nlbabal Do you have only that one sensor? Or do you have more zwave devices. And if you hold it close to homey, does it the change status in the mobile card then? All my motion sensors have no trouble triggering/canceling motion and or tamper,…
-
@G4nd41f since the issue I was giving that solution for, was for a dimmer 2, nowhere near a motion sensor.
-
@JaapPelt ; if the dimmer 2 is in momentary switch mode it will start dimming if you hold the button, and stop once you release the switch if the dimmer 2 is in toggle switch mode it will start dimming if you toggle on and off quickly, and stop aga…
-
That should work yup, with that setup you can also dim by holding the switch on.

no templates for basic CC i did write some documentation for my own reference and stuff: https://github.com/caseda/homey_zw-ccl it doesn't have all the CC's yet, but has the most common used CC's
