  • For zwave it is not always possible. For example a light turns on by homey on time based trigger. A little later you turn it off again with a direct associated remote as you don't want that light on, this way homey does not come in between the swi…
  • There is more then just the file, as there is also a checksum needed (not in the file), for verification purposes. (without verification it will fail to even install anything) + Don't you think people would have done so in the many years it is poss…
  • @Veldkornet The firmware version is only populated (asked from the device) during inclusion, as this was only added recently, all devices included before homey version 1.5.4 (i believe) will not show the firmware version.
  • Going to close this topic, as stated before, let's keep it in the official topic. will merge this into the official topic soon
  • @SJS @rogierh You are correct in everything except the economic temperature.  Economic temperature is setable with flow cards, but will revert back to 18 degrees as soon as you put it into another mode. @Eternity it is not the outside temperature,…
  • Uv will need to be measured outside, inside pretty much all uv will be blocked by the windows.  The difference in lux should be enough to see shadow (apr. 1000-4000), sunshine (apr. 4000 - 8500) and direct sun (apr. 8500+)
  • if you don't want to use homey (my.athom.com is needed to login), then yes you can by disabling your internet
  • nee, niet native, daar is deze app voor gemaakt https://apps.athom.com/app/com.insights.aggregate
  • @mathijs then i will like to know how you would let the music Follow you, walk into the kitchen, it continues playing there walk upstairs, it continues playing there. or do you always stay in 1 spot, then it is of course unnecessary i can do that w…

  • Oy1974 said: Jup and emile isnt from athom Duh he isn't from Athom true, he IS Athom, as he's (just) the co-owner but as it was a personal thingy, he uploaded it on his own name. like the xbox one app was, and the hyperion app still is
  • they are not dropping voice? it will still be available in the state it is in know, it will just not be improved anymore, as it is just too difficult to improve, especially when you compare to the "competition"   for the music, did you even read t…
  • That's just part of the story. 868 Mhz FSK modulation, constant listening is not supported, but sending is possible (and then a certain time after sending you can listen, so you can listen for the callback/acknowledge signal) So if the sensor uses …
  • My hue bridge and homey would die being polled every 500ms, with 26 bulbs and 6 accessories. And that is only half of what is possible on one bridge
  • Kinda curious what kind of device though, your asking for help without specifying what you are talking about
  • Powered indeed have a table to which device is nearby, no routes nothing, just the neighbors. Battery devices just send the signal out, zwave isn't necessarily a beaming protocol, it is just like wifi, a sphere of information. (it can beam though) …
  • HEAL = renew internal neighboring Table. Pretty much all (but not all) battery devices have no neighboring Table, so you can send the heal command when it is awake, but it won't do anything

  • In fact, you don't want to connect to input straight to 0v, there either needs to be a normally open switch inbetween, or don't connect it at all.  If you connect the input straight to 0v you can not control them at all, even with homey.
  • Be careful with the rgbw controller, which @Drops is giving as option (the reason why I didn't specify it) it is not on/off like a switch, but a PWM output (so on/off 240 times a second) not all devices like that, even 100% dim it will be slightly P…
  • If you're a little confident with (de-)soldering and don't mind losing the warranty, you can make the fibaro relay modules 12v operated instead of 230v. Only the input feed though, the switch inputs will stay 230v operated, so you can't connect any …
  • Then I would suggest to start reading at the start  A.K.A. "getting started" on the developer pages if you don't even know how to create an app.json
  • Not sure why you need a second post, but it is all on the developer pages https://developer.athom.com/docs/apps/tutorial-Drivers-Capabilities.html https://developer.athom.com/docs/apps/tutorial-Drivers-Reference.html
  • You can only do manual valve values if the mode is set on manual (also "manufacturer specific", kinda makes sense ) It doesn't do anything if it isn't so I send (set)  the mode to manual beforehand. For temperature it either needs to be in heat or …
  • I'll check the 15 degrees, though that is a default homey flow card, don't think I can do much about that except for letting athom know. 0 = valve closed (0% flow)  1 = valve fully opened (100% flow) That is just how it is implemented in zwave (0…
  • That is the version of the desktop app. You need to look into the settings to see the firmware version
in Update Comment by caseda March 2018
  • 1.0.4 is not even an (released) update.  It jumped from 1.0.3 to 1.0.5 You sure you aren't looking at an app's version? Instead of homey firmware version

  • By connecting the binary sensor you lose a contact on for example a keypad (it is not really allowed to have 2 wires in 1 terminal, or maybe even not possible (too small)) If you still need that contact for example to activate a magnet to open the …
  • @YvesGeffens it is a Sensor not a relais, the outputs can not be controlled from the outside. input 1 closed => output 1 closed
  • @canedje The user guide is right in the card itself, check the information icon
  • Ik denk dat dit een gevalletje contact opnemen met support@athom.com wordt Misschien je speaker defect is als er helemaal niks uitkomt, zelfs de spraak als je volume regelt
