There is a reason for it not being in the app. Because it doesn't work, and needs an update in the zigbee core to make it work. So even if you could include it as generic zigbee device, it won't do anything

@sossienl that almost looks like you have a looping flow, or a (or multiple) devices taking all homeys resources, maybe you can better make contact with athom support about that

No, devices that don't remember their data without battery is from a long long time ago (at least 20), most, if not all, devices now use flash storage chips which remember their data without power. (don't start saying, but computer bios!, that is a …

+ you will only lose all data is you reset your homey manually with the reset procedure. It is just a small computer inside, with a type of ssd hard drive (to keep it not to technical) An hard drive won't lose data because of a powerloss for 10's o…

Zwave does in general no polling at all. Polling is not needed 99% of the time with powered devices, as a state change is announced by the device itself. If in case it is a battery device it can get the state when it wakes up, though that is not don…

Each association group has its own function (like send the on or off command on motion, which is group 2 or 4 in your fibaro motion sensor), for some devices you see what that function is in the information icon behind it, though that is not impleme…

@jwikman there already is such a thing in the "devices" cards selection

heal = rebuild the neighbouring table in the device (look in the area for z-wave nodes it can talk to, for relay/association purposes). 99.5% of the battery devices do not have a neighbouring table, so there is nothing to rebuild. so in short, HEAL…

@cautje actually that time is correct, see that Z at the end, that is for Zulu time (military time) which is the same as GMT. The time used by pretty much all the internet, GPS, all military (world wide) and most importantly, the Atom clock. you ar…

As addon to the explanation: Coordinator = homey Router = any (mains) powered zigbee devices End device = battery operated zigbee devices

@RuudvB je kan de standaard "set hue" en "set saturation" kaarten gebruiken voor kleur, dit zijn dim sliders wat je een nummer tag op kan plaatsen.

@Eternity did you activate it on the preview app's privacy settings? By default it is off
-
There is no "right way" in this matter, and a lot of bridges are dependent on cloud to offer all the options. Direct connections might even need a harder, more difficult way to connect to it (reverse engineering for example), making it way less sta…

alpha apps can't be searched in the app store, you can only go with a direct link (you'll land on a page with a message that it is only for invited people) or via the link people get in their invite email.

@MichaelD it is not caused by the app update, it was already there way before the app updated (as in 1.5.3 has it... way before last app's update), as i said before, it is an homey issue, and not an app issue. it is just in certain situations, and …
-
@MichaelD It is know, and should "already" be fixed in the upcoming experimental update 1.5.6 RC9

@bloemstukje right now there is a bug in homey itself that sometimes settings (not default for the device, but for workings in homey) during pairing are not send (which happend in your case), so you need to de-activate the setting "scene activation…

be sure you use the included power adapter and cable. and not any other ones

It is not possible to update aeotec via homey, and will probably never be. They use proprietary software (windows only) where the data is embedded in (each device has its own program), so unless someone is able to decompose and decrypt that softwar…

maximum amount = 232 devices, which includes homey, so in theorie 231 devices. (you could have googled that btw) and no, it will round robin at the end and start at the beginning, of course skipping the numbers already taken then
-
You can not "just" create an image, then you will corrupt your zwave chip and zigbee chip and the rf micro controller will most likely act a bit strangely. Homey consists of multiple chips that have their own rom with data. Each uses its own image …

yeah, and re-opend within a minute

Some manufactures even claim 50 meters inside. Such a weird feeling sometimes that they used the wrong side of the measuring tape, 30 feet = 10 meters The log will tell "transmit_complete_no_ack" / "transmit_complete_unknown_ack" after a signal was…

It is most likely the range, the practical range (the range you need to take into consideration) for a stable direct connection is only 7-9 meters inside, that is with a clear sight (no walls/windows/doors). But even metal or thermopane glass can a…
