I had the same. Before pairing them you have to empty the memory. You do that as follows: Plug in the plug. It will go in pairing mode for 10 seconds. Within this 10 seconds press the all off button on the remote. Its memory is now wiped. You can n…

Isn't it possible to just pause the library scanning every x minutes for a certain interval? To avoid the built in Homey terminator?
-
Just wanted to drop in and say that the play/pause/stop detection is awesome! When we start a movie now all the lights turn off or dim to a low level. When pausing for a break the lights go on again immediately. Really impressed by how fast the dete…

@casper I have a F6400 2013 model. Dont know when it crashed, only that the app didnt work when it was suppositie to turn of the tv. Would be Nice if homey announced the crash of an app!

Oops I was under the impression it was supposed to find a tv on the network and when it failed you could enter the ip manually.

Nice work @casper !! My UE40F6400 is controlled like a charm! I made a flow that mutes the TV when homey starts talking and unmutes it again after. Seems to work in 70% of the times. I might change that one to an IR command when it is stable. I…

Any update on the IR update? I thought that that rewrite was also planned for today can't wait to try it!

I finaly had time to test V1.1.0 and it finaly works for me! Nice job on the setup page. When finishing the plex.tv pin procedure I see 2 servers (local: true and local:false). I just pressed the local one, is that preferred? Only problem for me is…

@MikeOne Just wondering. The plex app changes nothing to my plex server right? Since fiddling around with the homey plex app, I'm not able to normally stream plex movies to my chromecast (lot of stuttering). Probably a coincidence with a new plex …

MikeOne said: ... Having said that, an alias list is not a bad idea - as the same problem occurs with some movie titles (i.e. titles that contain made up words). This is the real challenge in the speech recognition logic. I think @Everto…

MarcoF said: Why should i use a IR Extender with Homey? As @MG11 stated his solution is to control devices in multiple rooms . I get your point but it's not really relevant for this topic.

Cant wait to test the app @MikeOne ! Thanks for all the effort you put in development!

BasVanDenBosch said: you can play youtube-sound with the standard media-app: sorry, doesn't play on the internal speaker... Works here exactly like that use it to play a YouTube song when I get home.

If I understood correctly the use of tokens in all flows is planned for the improved flow manager. In the meantime you could create a workaround i.e. using better logic to store the temperature values on change. Then you can do stuff with those vari…

You mean like this: ?

Would love this for my tram stop near my house (maybe via 9292 data?). A nice feature for busses and trams is filtering on line number and maybe destination ?
-
Maybe set the led ring to 1 percent on the "homey starts listening flowCard and to 0 again when he stops listening (or after a certain delay). you could use better logic to only do this when a variable (ledringoff) is true.

enjoy the update process! can take a while the first time I believe

Really awesome MikeOne! This is the app I've been waiting for! In my home setup I stream from my PMS to the 2nd generation Chromecast in my TV. Would this be possible for example in combination with the chromecast app for example? Since the 5Ghz …

Yes it is! But only brand and remote type. It's not directly connected to device types/series.
-
Because the type of remote is not always listed on the remote itself and the remote database is far from complete

So what does improved wi-fi recovery means?
-
The new trigger is awesome!!!

I believe there is some bug in the current release regarding IR. On Github it is said that it's fixed in the next release.

jorden said: Am I correct that sending out IR signals doesn't work yet in 0.8.20? Trying to power on my TV using the 'manually recorded' signal, but that won't work. Re-adding some remotes did wonders for me. Others were working anyway.
