Did you ever see those? Homey's evil brother! Zotac mini pc case https://www.zotac.com/nl/product/mini_pcs/zbox_o_series

Good to see the nest app! Adding the device was a piece of cake Now I want Home to read the target temperature when I get home. Is there a way to get the temp token without making a nest trigger? I now tried the better logic app to make a variab…

Nice! Good to see some good practices of other people!

@Peao I'm also a fan of the logic cards. But Emile stated on GitHub that the "you said something" card works the same as multiple contain logic cards. I haven't really tested it yet though!

DennisH said: @Qx5 A KaKu dimmer should remember it's last dimpercentage and go to that percentage when it's turned on Haha yes I know but I understood that you would change the dimmer-on command to dimmer-set_dim_level(100%) command…

DennisH said: @Qx5 I will test this tomorrow and add it to the driver if it doesn't make a big delay. Nice thanks Dennis! I tested it here in some flows and I don't see a noticeable delay. Would it be possible to set a default dimmer p…

I actually think this should be embedded in the KAKU Dimmer driver. Because the default Homey commands still send an on signal to KAKU dimmers. Just casually mentioning @Emile and hoping this maybe reaches a to-do list during this time of crisis b…

TheoDeKoning said: You can look on the dimmer device card in the ...then column if you can send a percentage. Ah you mean instead of sending an on-signal to my light I send a dimming-percentage. That's actually a clever trick. Let me tr…

Thanks for the ideas. I might try the turning off trick first but it seems quite hacky and might add some unwanted delay. I think Homey already tries to keep track of the light states internally but from what I read this is just buggy with 433mhz. …

Is there a way to undo the voice calibration? Or should you just do it again to overwrite the old one? I think my girlfriend messed the calibration up by shouting ok homey in the weirdest accents

Although PostNL states delivery tomorrow, I think that is only based on the notice from Athom to PostNL. If Athom says the distributor will send them wednesday you can expect the postNL delivery date to postpone every day for 24 hours until wednesda…

The extra click functionality is pretty cool. But does it needs a new pulse trigger to work? Or does it also work with 'old' on/off switches?

I discovered an increase in WAF of 0.8 by ordering these: https://www.conrad.nl/nl/x4-life-led-kaars-met-echte-was-set-van-4-creme-amber-geel-x-h-75-cm-x-15-cm-1274675.html?sc.queryFromSuggest=true They work with an infrared remote control so Home…

You mount these dimmers behind the physical switch on the wall. So you can turn them on/off with the switch but can also do this with homey (and dimming via homey). I have the KAKU AWMD-250 and it works fine. Less functionality than fibaro but also …

Pretty cool to see Homey showcased like this @ MM! We made this possible right? Can't wait to receive him!

Maybe this new system of trello to incorporate other services is a nice step-up. http://blog.trello.com/introducing-the-trello-power-ups-platform/

I totally agree with the bridges of other systems. And you could mimic some kind of alarm system with homey without a doubt. But a good alarm system needs a level of reliability and redundancy that Homey can probably not deliver and I don't expect i…
-
I think that a dedicated alarm system with an open api so that Homey can control it is more in line with the concept of Homey.

Maybe Homey can analyze the background noise in the room and adjust it's volume dynamically? i.e. Talk softer when you are alone and the home is quiet and talk louder when the TV is making noise.

MarcoF said: Trello app by Athom?! I also think that Trello could be the right platform for this. Decent API also and apps for all platforms. You could also use it for reminders, to-do's etc.

TheoDeKoning said: In the KaKU/COCO app you can. I just bought this KAKU AWMD-250. The normal dimming methods of the KAKU dimmers are not ideal. @Emile Will Homey be able to send percentage commands to KAKU dimmers? Or is that function li…

great!

I guess Stefan didn't update my status then. We arranged it in some pm exchange and I transfered the money a while ago

same problem here! :-)

Doesn't for safari/iphone. Might be nice to make it mobile compatible

Ah so no override of the expected input language via the API? Might be a useful feature in this case because for wolfram input always should be English?
-
But cant we make some kind of Flow with: hey homey, question, [question]. So in this case question is the trigger word for a wolfram look up and homey knows those questions are always in English. independ of homeys chosen language?

Did you guys upgrade Homey's voice? Sounds really good now!
