Ok: all Homey users here get a 10% discount on a minimal spending of 100 EUR. Shipping is also free. Max 1 time discount per user. You have to create a user account first to be able to claim your discount. Use the code HOMEY16 when in the checkout p…

WIth iBeacon technology you can exactly do that, triangulation .
-
Ok, fair enough . Just not my cuppa tea I guess .
-
Possible use case: have an iBeacon near the front- and backdoors. Using this Homey knows you are approaching the home when you are not in Homey's own range yet .
-
@rob_houweling I understood Homey is an iBeacon in itself, but it would be cool if you could use iBeacon's to let Homey know where you are in the house. But, as said, this could be quite hard to achieve. It would be very very cool indeed and I do wa…

I honestly never understood why this is cool or why you would want this. Specially if you have voice activation.... And if you name your devices logically.
-
@Emile will I be able to trigger flows based on my (phone's) proximity to iBeacons? That would be just insanely and utterly cool.

PeterGroeneweg said: Please have a little faith in the guys from Athom. So far they have met all their promisses. Except for the delivery date . ROFLOL But yes, for now, let's keep some good spirits and send the Athom guys some good vibes…

Nice one @Stefan . Now please make us happy with delivery date estimates. Pretty please, sugar on top .
-
Wow guys, relax. I mean, I'm also (a bit) worried about it, but hold your horses! Let's keep it a bit civilized. I hope Athom does surprise us and that they pull it of! After all, I wish them all the best and I can sure see they work incredibly hard…
-
@kasteleman Yes, and that's exactly what worries me, together with that MediaMarkt announcement. If it will take them 4 weeks to produce the GeekBackers, another 4 weeks for the rest of the Backers and then another 8 for the Pre-Orders... How on ear…

ZWave is supported by Homey, so it should work!

tommyjay said: Geofencing? In other words, Homey running a flow when you get home and/or enter your home. +1! Also, adding Z-Wave devices would be nice. Maybe a nice flow with Z-Wave, maybe combined with Hue, KaKu, 433 etc.

I assume (but this is speculation) that the investor(s) want to cash in. They are there to make a profit. Profit means huge numbers. Hence the choice for MM. I think it is not a wise strategy and it is very risky. Also, every small domotica shop br…

@Iankennedy totally agree on the Fibaro products!
-
@Appie I checked with the importer in the Netherlands. There will be an intercom (doorbell) system, available in Q1, price unknown but in the 200-300 euro range. They will also release a 'swipe' system, where you can use your domotica using gestures…
-
It sounds like they already have motors and you control with a switch? If that is the case you could use one of these: http://shop.brighters.nl/schakelaars-n-dimmers/ramen-n-zonwering
-
Hi @Appie. Unfortunately I don't know more than what we heard from Texas last week. I'll ask the supplier!
-
-
Now works in the checkout page as well, in the Payment step (step 5).
-
Oops, sorry guys, I made a little mistake. You'll have to apply the coupon code IN the shopping cart (http://shop.brighters.nl/checkout/cart), not on the checkout page. Will try to make this easier for you soon.
-
Hi @Sommo! I'd love to, but unfortunately that will be difficult. I will check with my suppliers.

That's a very good deal indeed. In my webshop it would be 111,90, shipping free. I might however consider a special discount for my fellow Homey enthusiasts . Be right back...

The Fibaro motion sensors are awesome. Really cute little things and they work like a charm. Have two in my setup at my home and they never failed on me (2 yrs of use now). I also wrote a blogpost about them: http://brighters.nl/2014/11/15/de-fibaro…

It's indeed for the weekly update .
-
As far as I understood, this won't be supported at all right now. They plan on adding it in the (hopefully near) future.
-
And thanks for the answer @Emile !
