I had the same problem. It (for now) works if you use it as undefined socket and give it a name of your choosing. As far as I know, there are no build-in commands that would benefit from the fact that it's set as a heater or fan.

I believe I had something similar, I restarted the Homey, reconnected to WiFi, and it worked for me. Beware though, restarting Homey while it's updating or downloading can bring problems.
