No. During a recovery process, you can link Homey to a new network while keeping your settings. Read it carefully at https://www.athom.com/en/support/KB000011/ (or https://www.athom.com/nl/ondersteuning/KB000011/ for Dutch)

@daesland There are options (if Athom indeed discontinuous the desktop app) to run android apps on a windows PC. There are multiple options, but I'm sure you can find something by googling for "run android apps on windows".

@Reinier Any update on the Alexa skill? Even if it's very very alpha-like, I'm sure many of us would enjoy using it (me included )

Hi. Congratulations on your new apartment I'm living in a rental appartment with my GF, which has a similar size/layout. Here are some things you might want to consider: Hallway Since there is only 1 entry/exit-way in this apartment, you can do s…

Maybe something like this might work, but it will be quite resource-intensive: Flow A: If button is pressed, set var_pressed to TRUE Flow B: If button is released, set var_pressed to FALSE Flow C: Repeating every second, activate flow D with dela…

Indeed, that was my plan. Of course I'm not sure what your specific applications are/were, but instead of adding +10 every 1 second, you could add +1 every 0.1 second. However, the flow should be repeated every second, and thus can only be stopped e…

There actually is an option to get faster than 1 second with the delay option in the cards. If you type '0.5' in notepad or whatever, and copy-paste it in the delay option field, you will get a 0.5s delay. I'm not sure how well it works and/or if it…

Since I have no real answer for your problem, I'm just saying here what I noticed immediately: If I use a decimal in my flows, I use a dot (.). Is the fact that you're using a comma (,) somehow related to anything?

Also about nr 4: If you would ask Homey something via Alexa (i.e. "Alexa, ask Homey to turn on the TV"), which triggers a flow in Homey and would say something (i.e. "Yes sir"), then the Echo Dot will have the speech active, not the Homey (i.e. Alex…

@Otacon: didn't encounter issues, looks all good. I pushed it to the app store as beta, to 1) prevent anything I missed and 2) because people need to re-add the receiver in their flows. EDIT: and accepted as beta

Will look at the pull request later today and probably push it to the app store. I'll also see if I can upgrade the app to SDK2 to make it work with Homey 1.5 and 2.0 in the future.

A delightfully late response from my end, but thank you for this guide! I recently got an Echo Dot, and I disliked the 'Alexa, ask Homey to...'. Now I can change on/off the lights, set the volume of the receiver (Alexa, set receiver to 20%), and mor…

What's working for me (I think better logic variables) ( $LIFX1_time_night_min_int$ < $sunset_time$ ? $LIFX1_time_night_min_int$ : 0 ) which is an IF statement. Thus: $temperature$

Hi Lars, I have personally never heard of this dashboard. It looks great. However, I don't think there is currently any compatibility with Homey. Note that I base this purely off the fact that Homey is not in their 'Compatibility' list, and that I …

Is the Spin remote already (close to) being supported by Homey? I heard someone talking about creating an app a while ago.

About your " a GUI on the homey app that mimic an actual remote", you can combine HomeyDash with VirtualDevices to do pretty much just that. Make a flow that if a VirtualDevice is 'pressed', an action happens (i.e. turning up the volume). Then place…

I think you need the beta-version of the Sonos app, after which you can choose a speaker in the Music-page on Homey in the bottom-right corner.
-
You can play music via the audio jack-speaker. Google Play Music and SoundCloud work like this (also to for example a Chromecast if you have the beta-version of the Chromecast app). Spotify only works with Sonos speakers.

@Jeroenski74 To be clear: Can this be set up in a way that everything you say to Google Home is send directly to Homey via just HTTP? That would be amazing. I mean this would work as "Google, turn on the lights", rather than "Google, ask Homey to t…

@techniman: The improvement of the Homey speech in 1.20 is related to the fact that from that version on, RegExp can be used as speech. The wiki app, has the following: "(look\\s?up|find|search(\\sfor)?|tell(\\sme|\\sus)?\\sabout)", and some other…
