The new website is mostly finished, it just needs some finetuning. I'd rather focus on making Homey itself stable enough now though. It wouldn't be fair to start advertising awesomeness when not everyone is happy with the current product.
-
I advice to add a package.json as well to manage dependencies.

We're working on this! :-)

Example: https://github.com/athombv/athom-cli/blob/master/lib/ledring.js
-
We're having some cloud server issues, nothing to worry about! You guys are too actively using your Homeys, haha.

The things is, you need a secret anyway, and also some server-side code to compare the incoming value against..
-
Yep! At least the 'OK Homey' training data.
-
We won't provide the speech commands to open or close locks built-in, but if you add them in a Flow, it's of course your choice :-)
-
Software only. Expect 4 - 8 weeks before it's considered `good`.
-
@MarcoF it's a very complicated process. I'll write a blog about it someday when I have the time
-
The text that appears above the input field is what Homey hears. Please note that, as also mentioned in the Kickstarter update, the microphone needs a lot of calibration from us to get right.
-
We're going to add a Notification Center, where events like 'Jack came home', 'Homey updated to x.x.x' etc. will be shown :-) To see what Homey heard, visit http:///manager/speech-input/ To see what Homey said, visit http:///manager/speech-output/

Yeah, the Arduino library doesn't have the highest priority, as you can probably imagine
-
That's true. We'll add other types of tokens later (numeric, boolean) etc, and they can be dragged to sliders as well.
-
I've fixed these speech output issues in 0.8.18
-
I'll think about it In the meantime, you can use the search box ;-)
-
Hahahaha. Just reboot Homey
-
Booleans (on/off) and strings (regular text) support for Insights is on the to-do list indeed

When it's tested and ready to ship. Expect about 1 update a week.
-
You couldn't be more right We continue shipment when most bugs are fixed!
-
It's a known issue, so you don't have to report it
-
We found that if you have many devices, it became really cluttered..
-
Volume control is already added in 0.8.18 which will ship next
-
Now it makes sense why it says that! It can't reach the server, because the certificate isn't validated because the time is off. Ill fix that asap!
