Regardless of what happens when the rewrite hits us, a method to replace a device without having to recreate flows would be a very nice feature.
-
I totaly agree we need information, good or bad news. Would be nice if the timing would be better so we don't have to find out the hard way why some thing stop working. (and for the rest of the forum; please, don't eat yellow snow...) ((I like…

DieterKoblenz said: Lets summarize it then.. It would be great if Athom could implement these kinds of features not "houtje touwtje" when Homey hits retail. It would really make Homey a great choice for people with disabilities. So perhaps no…

I guess I am not getting it.
-
So you expect it to remain beta? Think ahead, think big, think outside the box.

@basvandenbosch where does @mglat mention Philips? I see Zwave and KAKU mentioned.
-
@marcof do you have an example of a flow that does the PTP?
-
Still, having funtionality in homeys core to help people with disabilities would be a boost for homey. With all respect, a 'houtje touwtje' solution is fun for geeks, but not for the general public. For the dutch people: http://www.philips.nl/a-w…

On the other hand, on the milestones page both 0.8.38 and 0.8.39 are 0% done, So what's that information worth?

I guess this could be possible by the time BLE works, If Homey presents itself as a handsfree set all call information would be available. If you'd pickup the call on your phone the audio would be available on the phone itself, but since you are dea…

@emile can you please give us some more information than just 'various improvements'? I like to believe these experimental updates are released so we can test and comment on the state of the firmware so you, Athom, know how well a build is received …

No, no polling needed, the parameter should be added to the Z-Wave Configuratie Data field. The field now has 5,1,2;201,1,205 and should become 5,1,2;201,1,205;111,4,300 I'm sure there's a screenshot of it somewhere in this thread Polling interva…

@Jon Polling is not needed for the Aeotec Sensore, you have to set parameter 111,4,300 (300 seconds = 5 minutes) AND you have to use USB power! It is not advisable but it should also be possible to do this on battery powered sensors if you set 111,…

@Arjan thanks for pointing that out, it indeed looks like a well hidden feature Now please show us the Multi-select I mentioned above
-
Why would it not send one word at a time? Detecting a pause and sending the 'word' while listening to the rest is possible. (That's what Siri does) Obviously it would require an extra step on Homey to construct the full sentence off all collected…
-
To make it even easier, it would be nice if we could do a multi-select on devices before we change a setting, so that any change in a device will be applied the same way on the other devices in the selection.

Sure, no problem. What I wanted to do is switch the Hallway lamps (Ganglamp) with 2 switches, one near the living and the other next to the front door, a two-way switch (Hotelschakeling) There are two Klik-aan-klik-uit AWMT-003 switches mounted i…

No, you're question is vaild and clear, there's just many ways you can organize it so a search function would be very welcome, that's where @MatjaLipu jumped in and asked what search use cases we're looking for. The one I describe above is usefull f…

@MatjaLipu I think it would be very usable if you could search for a specific card in the then column. For example, the action that set's my light(s) is in a specific folder for the location of that light(s), but the flows to set the boolean that…

For time based flows (timers/sunset/Sunrise) I use a folder 'Time Based' For a light or lights in a location I use the location name ie. Hallway. In that folder the wallswitches toggle a boolean variable (Better Logic) and a change in the boolean …

@Eternity good news, glad you found the problem. @phils_s The motion alarm is only active during the detection of motion, when te motion stops the motion alarm is set to false. The generic alarm starts when a motion is detected and stays x seconds…

How much time is there between starting the pairing action and actualy pressing the button on your bridge? In my experience the time you have to press the button on the bridge is decreased significantly in the last version.

111,4,xxx can be anything you like (on usb power) the 201 and 202 are corrections because of the usb power and do nothing for the tamper alarm. If the tamper alarm is not reset after it's triggered (agitate the sensor and then leave it be) I don't …

The fact that the status in Homey did not change when you removed the sensors doesn't surprise me, Homey will only change the status when a new status is received from the Sensor. I'd say remove all nodes and reset z-wave to start all over (depend…

I just recently installed the Wunderstation app on my iPad and I must say it's a good looking and functioning dashboard. Having such a dashboard with relevant widgets for Homey would be perfect! https://www.wunderground.com/micro/wunderstation/ …
