Well it will be at least a 'Summary Friday' I'll bet you @emile will respond to this thread: https://forum.athom.com/discussion/1547/trouble-getting-ir-buttons-to-be-recognised#latest (... there goes my money)

Another bug was fixed in 1.0.5, try it from Github or wait for it getting published to the store.
-
I'm having the same problem on 0.8.36.

Thanks for making that drawing @marcof it gives a good insight on what part of the signal is lost due to the housing. Maybe it's about time @emile or @stefan will comment on this...

I'm seeing the same thing but my housing seems to be machined in order to open up 'windows' for the IR leds, I see this on several IR emitters: I also think the IR emitters (or PCB) are placed to low, in order to see the middle of an emitter you …

Why not, are they solid?

@eternity Is the sensor added secure or non-secure? Can you post a screenshot of the settings page?

To bad Can you try to set 5,1,2 through a flow as described here (and after that press the Action Button): https://forum.athom.com/discussion/comment/22071/#Comment_22071 Btw, do you run it on batteries or USB?
-
@Eternity Yes that's the button. Thanks for testing it!
-
Well, it publishes an interface over the internet, so one would expect it is to be used to work on your homey remotly

No, the motion alarm is triggered when there is motion and stops when the detected motion ended, after that the Generic Alarm stays active for 4 minutes. Imagine this, you have a motion sensor in the hallway switching the light in it, and go throug…
-
@BasVanDenBosch not yet, that is what I want to test next when I find some time.
-
@Caseda The Generic Alarm didn't show up regardless of having 5,1,2 in the settings, the problem is that it only saves to the sensor when it is saved in a flow, on the device card it simply doesn't work. Kinda like it was with multi byte settings on…
-
Isn't that very easy to test? Set 1 to 5 seconds and another to 10 seconds, fire the flow and time the actions...

The Generic Alarm is activated at a movement and stays active for a certain period (default 4 minutes) of no movement.

So, we're starting this again, great! Thanks for pointing that out @rob_houweling

@hnijveen is it the same problem as this: https://github.com/athombv/homey/issues/634 Did you reset and wipe your homey?
