Agreed, thought about that before and made a feature request on Git to be able to add tags to devices, but it was shot down: https://github.com/athombv/homey/issues/1917
-
@fire69 it's gonna be something like this, the settings page will display all devices with the required capabilities and you can then use the checkboxes to include the devices you want.
-
No problem, but you don't have to entirely rename, just adding [H] is enough.

Fire69 said: And that's something you can incorporate into your app? Had a look at it today, but to be honest, I find it a bit annoying that I have to rename my devices for this to work Yes, that is possible to incorporate. I'll hav…

Had a quick look; Athom has already prepared a capability armed/disarmed/partially armed

@skandshus any device that reports an alarm_motion or alarm_contact to homey will do. Motion sensors like the Fibaro Motion Sensor, Aeotec MultiSensor and Xiaomi Human Body sensor etc. will do and also the Fibaro Door Sensor, Aeotec Recessed Door se…

I also have some Aeotecs but I’m glad I found the Xiaomi’s when going through Ted’s forum topic on his app. Compaired to the Aeotecs they’re simple but they do their job well. The only thing to think about is that the luminance is only reported when…

Don’t know how much that PIR costs, but I’d suggest not bothering with it, take your loss and order this one: https://www.gearbest.com/alarm-systems/pp_659226.html (price varies a lot, you can get it at €9,00) install this app https://apps.athom.com…

If you change the wakeuptime -and- the temperature threshold then it will report when the temperature threshold is crossed at the wakeup interval. Every time the sensor wake's up because of the wake up interval it evaluates all value's against the …

@bvdbos I think that's a wrong assumption, These are all Xiaomi Aqara devices:

Hmmm, my Homey runs 1.5.5, how is it not good for my Homey? @Bram Will it explode? Will it melt? Will it blend?
-
As I see it, it will switch of after the amount of time elapsed after there is no longer movement detected. So default 300 seconds, 5 minutes, after you hold your breath and don’t move it will start registering new movement.

I would not recommend using (timed) recurring flows to detect something that is easily detectable by using flows that are triggered by sensors.
-
Why not use $timenow$? thats epoch time, so set a variable when the windows opens, set another when closed and substract the first from the second. That will give you the seconds and can be recalculated to hours and minutes
-
Ok well if it can be done per device that's ok too, as I read it in your comment it was on a zone level. Will it be possible to block certain capabilities of a device. I have, for example, several MultiSensors and I'm only interested in Motion and…

Great, if you like the idea of using a separate field for it instead of the Name or Zone, give the github issue (https://github.com/athombv/homey/issues/1917) a thumbs up please.

Had the same unfortunatly. Tried it with a reboot, didn’t help. Tried removing Toon and re-adding, didn’t help. Removed the app and ran it from github, not possible as it seems to be missing a consumer code which is not available on github (I guess …

Your welcome. In the mean time I’ve submitted a feature request to be able to add a ‘tag’ to a device so you can filter on that and leave device and zone names ‘clean’ https://github.com/athombv/homey/issues/1917
-
@swttt isn’t it better to lock this topic and start a new one for the current version of homeyDash?
-
Well, it’s most probably the Homey OS that tries to resolve the host with the added suffix, but it is very likely caused by the returned ‘unknown host’ (or something similar) because gpsradar.buienradar.nl doesn’t exist, so it’s still a problem in t…

Don't think it's possible to do it as you describe, but doing it like this: should work, as long as you make sure your motion sensors have [ds] in their name. It would be nice if we could attach tags to devices so the evaluation can be done on a ta…

There's a card for that: If you combine that with for example a namecheck or zonecheck in the and column and a countdown timer from the countdown app, I'm sure you'll be able to do what you want to do.
