  • If a "stable/Beta" release is too big a step at this point, *any* sign of progress would be appreciated. I'd even be happy with a blog post explaining what's happening right now... did the bi-weekly updates end with Kickstarter?

  • I agree with the "supposed to be" (and am also very disappointed with the lack of feedback from Athom on this subject). But as things are going, I don't see Homey improving anytime soon, so if you're looking for something that works on short term (a…

  • The people from Athom read these forums too. If this procedure is no longer accurate, then I would certainly expect them to come out and tell us so...

  • Well, if this does turn out to be a hardware issue (and it certainly looks like one), and Athom manages to fix it, then you may have to send back your Homey for a replacement... Besides, isn't the Homey itself a hub as well?  Right now, the Harmony …
  • Hopefully, a month from now, they have a better solution and this won't be necessary anymore. But if it is... I'm fairly certain that, if it works on Homey now, it will work on that very same Homey next month as well.

  • Yeah, but he says he didn't do the voice training...
  • Not as cheap, but imho by far the best solution to all IR issues... is a Logitech Harmony hub in combination with the Homey app for it. Works great for all IR devices, and doesn't require the use of Homey's IR signals at all.
  • @MarcoF   The text I quoted is the guide that was officially posted by Athom on this forum... unfortunately the entire thread in which they posted it, has been deleted. But as far as I know, it's still the exact same procedure that Athom support mai…

  • @RobertE what firmware version are you on? Am I correct in the assumption that you haven't activated experimental updates (ie haven't updated to .32 yet) ?
  • Aren't all of us Homey users one big community, regardless of what forums we post on?
  • leenmol1 said: need a reset procedure   This is the procedure originally posted by Athom on this forum, several weeks ago: [Edit] procedure removed - see Emile's request here , contact Athom for the procedure...

  • Well, I think the label "stable" is a bit misleading at this stage... right now, all releases are basically "experimental".
  • @RoelofRos   that's good to hear. So either they prioritize issues upon arrival, or they pick the ones for which they have already an answer ready and reply to those, and leave those where they don't know the answer straight away... we'll see what h…

  • I definitely don't see helping other people on this forum, in the same line as issues like IR problems etc. Sure, in the long run, Athom will definitely have to change on this front too, and become better at this themselves. But right now I'd very …

  • It may not be our "task", but as it is, it appears that we're currently a better source of support than Athom. Until that changes, and Athom has their support in working order, I will only recommend people to contact Athom support if there really is…

  • @MarcoF  Ofcourse he still has warranty. And if his Homey is really dead, then putting it in a box and sending it back is probably a better option than emailing support. As I said, currently attempting to get anything done by sending a request to th…

  • Don't know about just you, but for me, a little bit more space between words works quite well... though it wouldn't accept space of, say, 2 seconds (don't know exactly how much silence Homey will accept before it starts searching... haven't tested t…
  • Try increasing the space (pause) between the words 'speel' and 'film' when you talk to Homey...
  • Did you do the 'OK Homey' training? That appears to mess up recognition and result in a lot more false positives. I have not done the OK Homey training, and I don't have any false positives throughout the day, even though Homey is right next to the …

  • If you can't hear exactly what Homey said, you can always check http://{your-homey-ip-address}/manager/speech-output/ But it's good to hear that it's working for you as well, now.
  • Target temperature appears to work fine here... so I don't understand the bug you mentioned...
  • Yeah, that's why I was quite surprised...

  • The fact that you can't use the old zwave devices yet in combination with Homey, doesn't mean that they will never be supported and/or that they are useless. You'll just have to be patient a while longer (possibly a few months)...
  • Ah, sorry, didn't read the previous posts well enough... I didn't realize you were talking about the KAKU app.
