Also, when switching on the Hue, it will go 100% immediately, but not immediately be available in your zigbee network. It will also mess up your zigbee mesh routing for a while. (Which relies on steady transmitters/receivers on fixed places.)

RamonBaas said: You can get rid of the ghost devices by deleting them via the URL http://vera_ip:3480/data_request?id=device&action=delete&device=. Yes, I also want to get rid of my Veras and move over to Homey, can't wait. MilanVanDenMuy…

@honey I've not had opportunity to test IR yet. First I'm testing all kinds of combinations of sensors and flows. I want a proof-of-concept foor essential living conditions first, then the secondy like IR and such. Sorry. Due to lack of time and ver…

Ha! I bicycle into my back-yard, my watch vibrates and shows "Homey: Je bent thuis". (="Homey: You are home."). Apparently Homey app shows this as a status on my phone, and my watch shows it. Unexpected, but nice. :-) ((Really really nice if I get …

+1 for an answer to the question for the transmission angle of the beam for Homey

Geek pre-orders are also very forgiving of bugs Ha, I see what you are trying! The more forgiving you are, the earlier you get your Homey, bugs or not! :-)

@kasteleman : No, no full/automatic controllerswitch. Also not 2 controllers at once. But step by step. (That's how I am.) Don't know duwi or greenwave. I have many kinds of Fibaro devices (25-35 dives I guess), a few EverSpring devices, a few Aeon …

@MilanVanDenMuyzenberg : [shaking hands] Always nice to meet a fellow CTO. Your scepticism is recognized and appreciated! As you can see in my other posts, I've told Athom "talk in months or quarters, not in weeks". This is because of the same expe…

As asked: Brand of the cat is Europese Korthaar, as far as the protocol, haven't been able to pair him up with Homey...yet. I think Emile said it's not compatible with cats, and I have to write an app for that myself. About the adaptor, close, nice…

MilanVanDenMuyzenberg said: No, obviously not, it's your story as a whole. If all risk needs to be mitigated before shipment (and reading your email there is quite some polishing up required), then it'll probably take some more time before larger…

Though I am flattered by the suggestion, I've got to get other things on the rails with Homey first. Experimenting a lot with my homey right now. First getting the basics fixed in my house and with Homey, then the things VeraEdge can't do, THEN cand…

It's not meant to be mean. I just don't want to search a long time and post you the links to the threads in the forum. However, maybe someone else is less lazy and more helpfull than me. though the forums are quite full! It's a lot of work to re…

Hi my friend. Welcome. :-) my thoughts: Please do some research in the forums first. Most of your questions have been answered. Then repost the questions that are left. This saves your peers lots of time.

50% on topic: @Emile I would love it to invert the up-side-down-reset feature. Is this possible in the future? My house has no lights on the ceiling at the central light boxes, so I would LOVE to place Homey up-side-down on the ceiling. Would solve …

@Athom: Sommo asks a very good question indeed, which should be asked a bit broader I think: Is there a list of technical specifications of Homey, including the limitations of amount devices, flows, etc.? How many devices of type x do you support be…

Sending 2 different signals at same time is not done I guess, but maybe if the IR frequencies lay far enough apart, but I suspect the bandwidth and crudeness of IR communication to be limited. I doubt there is ANY system sending multiple (different)…
