  • Does anyone know of any type of Qubino where the extra inputs work? ZMNHDDx?  I would like to replace my Zipato with Homey but, I need these inputs to work with the already present light switches and starting "scenes".  I would even replace my curre…
  • Weird that people do not know that IR signals are transmitted via an LED in the IR spectrum. What do you think that plastic bubble at the front end of your remote is?  Any way, Homey is probably not able to generated the frequency required on its a…
  • There are several IR-transmitters that use the normal 3.5mm connector as connection mechanism. If it would be possible to generate the required frequency by the audio chip, it would be a simple system. Otherwise you will have to use an external devi…
  • But, for example with my ZMNHDA2 I do see events logged in the Z-wave panel for geeks. So, the signal does arrive but apparently is not interpreted correctly.
  • Is there already any news on I2 and I3 inputs on any of the Qubino devices? I have several ZMNHDA2's and connected the already present hardware switches to these inputs to increase the WAF on ZIpato but, wanted to go to Homey this weekend and still …
  • I use the Sonos Http Api for that https://github.com/jishi/node-sonos-http-api Create a http Get request using the "http request flow" app and add the following line in it http://IPwhereTheApiRuns:5005/SpeakerName/tunein/play/96203 This will start…

  • Did you see my comments in the app store itself? What I did, I create a flow when homey hears anything that mutes the speaker Once homey has finished listening, it restarts the Sonos. I do now use the Sonos http api (running on a Rasberry) as it g…
  • Included the Homey into my Zipabox Z-wave network. Where it could see all the devices before (not working correctly but that is something else) now it does not see them or, I can't find the button to update the network

  • @kasteleman perfect! Looking forward   Still trying to figure out why it does not work. Probably something in the wiring.

  • Found this *.jar which should be having the same functionality as the OpenHab implementation (it is from the same person who made the OpenHab implementation). https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/12642167/org.openhab.binding.horizon-1.9.0-SNAPSHOT.jar
  • Just a bump   Here a library for OpenHab  https://github.com/openhab/openhab/wiki/Horizon-mediabox-binding
  • But if I wait a long time it gives a failed message on the upgrade. Did this also happen? Edit: Ok weird, now it seems like I can continue. (Should have started this thread sooner  )

  • Connections are on older devices RS485/422 but, they could be connected to a Modbus/TCP converter. So, if the homey would understand Modbus over TCP it could cover a wide range of devices used in the industry and solar panels
  • Peter, I do not know where you want to take this thread? I ask, if it would be possible to implement Modbus/TCP as a host on the Homey.  I use for example Siemens PLC S7 or CCC Series5/Series6 (Turbine/Compressor Control System) controllers which a…
  • Why would a PLC be a master? In most applications it is the slave as it just generates the data for a graphical interface which has no priority for the PLC.  Anyway, that's not the question, if the PLC only has modbus, you can say there are better …
  • The benefit of the Fibaro is that it has 2-way communication as with the 433MHz it is just hoping the command has received the device.
  • Sure, you've to poll Modbus but, this can be done at a slow rate. Most industrial devices still use a 19k2 baud on the background. I'm not talking about an arduino because yes, you can better use other equipment for that. I'm talking about industria…
