  • Ik heb een Dooya motor met gordijn op maat voor een prikkie uit China en dat werkt zeer goed. Is 433MHz maar daar voel ik niks van. Het werkt met de app voor Brel Motors.
  • You need the wifi bridge and then the light works great. There are only 4 groups so you have to distribute the 16 lamps somehow I guess or add extra bridges, that it also possible.
  • Got my Homey today and surprised to see a Mi-Light app in the app store already!! Unfortunately, like all other apps, it doesn't work yet and the interfaces are all bugged. So I think I'll give it a couple of months before trying again.
  • PeterGroeneweg said: I would love the possibility to insert a blocking mechanism. Such as when one of the windows is open, don't start the heater. It would be a shame to loose all that warmth. @ThijsVanUlden, the interface on Toon itself i…
  • Would be nice of Homey could take over the daily programming from Toon because Toon has a slow and lousy interface
  • Maybe some warning mechanism. When I leave the house and still use 3KWh power or when the heating is on while I go to bed. But that may be default options when readings are available in the flow editor..
  • Om er als de kippen bij te zijn, schrijf je hier in voor de BETA Toon API: http://www.toonapi.com/#signup To be at it like the chickens, one can subscribe to the BETA Toon API here: http://www.toonapi.com/#signup
  • Homey will need a piece of software to talk to the wifibox. To be specific, the integration of this: https://gist.github.com/AppLamp-API/5576679. So you do not need extra hardware.
  • You are right Bram, I agree. But there is no such thing as "pay a little extra", it's more than 400%. Running Mi Light with 5 bulps and the base station is 75 euro's and the Philips Hue has a starter pack of E200,- (3 lights) and then add 2 lights …
  • Regarding Mi Light; it looks like the LED strip need a separate controller. You may want to buy your stuff from slimmeledlamp.nl so you know you'll get good service. (I'm not affiliated) Those products can work with Homey but when I don't know.
  • Got the wifi box now. To control the lights I can send UDP packets to the wifi box and it translates the packets to the lights. I use https://github.com/dannagle/PacketSender and it works fine. This will work for Guus as well met deze HEX doe ik bi…
  • @Emile ok then I guess it could be this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/CC1100-CC1101-433MHz-Wireless-Transceiver-Module-NRF905-SX1212-Model-E07-M1101S-/171126926277?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27d7f5abc5
  • I will try the following: Arduino Nano with 433mhz transceiver and simple PIR from eBay. Or something Nano: http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Pro-Mini-atmega328-Board-5V-16M-Replace-ATmega128-Arduino-Compatible-Nano-/131278764259?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0…

  • Guus, you are the best. Just ordered 6 Mi Lights on Banggood, and the remote, and the wifi base station. After asking around I found out that you can use zwave PIR sensors but I admit that is the royal/expensive route.
  • Guus said: WoW great Thijs can I get the solution wen you get the homey sorry about my English Sure thing, I'll try to share it using the Athom Homey Labs thing that is coming. Do you use the lights already? I wonder how they are..
  • The AppLamp lights sold here: http://www.applamp.nl/ Are the same as the lights sold here: http://slimmeledlamp.nl/ And seems to be the same as these: http://www.milight.com/ They make use of the same API written for NodeJS and also make use of…
