I'm not sure what method the remote uses, but a few models I could find have IR based remotes. Homey has IR support so in theory it should work if you teach it the right commands.

Since XBMC has a remote control api and Homey has a programmable SDK I'm pretty sure that even if support isn't there at launch, someone will get it working in no time.
