IR tranceiver and learning mode

I understand by browsing through the forum that Homey can both receive and send IR signals?
Since it can receive, will there be a IR learning mode for non recognised remotes? This would greatly increase the possibilities to interact with existing (legacy) audio/video hardware.

    It should also be possible to share "remotes" so for example, I have an old JVC CRT television ans I'll make Homey compatible, you don't have to do this yourself but just use my settings.

    Thats a very nice option too. Since learning and transceiving are possible I see quite a lot applications to make life easier with one click or voicecommand.
