  • @DaneeDeKruyff, I'd like to test it. Currently use a lot of flows for this purpose!

Just updated to app store to 0.0.3 (still alpha).
It is no longer needed to change the device name (@Fire69) the desired devices can be selected on the settings page. For now the settings are saved but not yet active, it is needed to stop and start the app to activate the setting, in the next version this will no longer be needed.

I've also added the UI for the Delayed Trigger but it is disabled for now because the needed code in the 'alarm' routine still has to be written.

More info can be found on the app store page.

    That's some fast progress!
Thanks for thinking about me ;)

I'll see if I can make some flows for it :)

    [edit]
    Net een crash gehad :p

    [edit2]
Why did I put that in Dutch? :D
    So I had a crash...
  • I like this! I did order a Homey a couple of weeks ago and waiting for the product.
Today i use Vera + HomeAssistant, but I will not have the time to program/ spend a couple h per update anymore.

    For security I have
3 Hikvison ( i dont think Homey supports this yet)
3 Blink indoor cameras (I have put in a order, not recived yet)
    2 Foscam
    3 AeoTec Multisenors
    1 Xiaomi Body sensor
    3 Sensative strips
    1 Keypad
1 Raspberry PI keypad with MQTT, dont know if Homey will support this

Would love 2 test this when i get my Homey up and working.

The link to the App is not working, or is that on purpose?

@Eternity that’s correct, the app is in alpha, so invitation only. If you PM me your email address you use on the app store I can give you access if you want to.
  • @DaneeDeKruyff

    Great! Send you a PM!
  • I also would like to test your app. Great idea!

I send you a PM with my email adress i use on the app store.

  • Unfortunately I've introduced a bug on fresh installs in version 0.0.5, no new testers are accepted until the bug is fixed.
  • The bug is fixed:

    Version 0.0.6

    • Fixed bug that was introduced in 0.0.5 for first installations.

Like the look of the App and I can see myself putting it to use for surveillance and alarm flows. Great idea!

    PS
One thing I noticed, is that the log in empty in the Homey App running on my Mac but shows items, running in a Chrome browser.
  • Thanks @Eternity, glad you like it.
I must say I've never even installed the Homey App on my Mac :) And since Athom will be abandoning it soon I think it's not very useful to look into what is wrong.
  • I agee with you!
  • I'm curious what other testers of the app are thinking of it. Any questions/remarks/suggestions/experiences you'd like to share?
  • I'll be installing and testing it tomorrow!
  • I would be happy to help out with testing. I'll PM you my email
  • New version published to the app store:

    Version 0.0.7

    • Finished and enabled the 'Delayed Trigger' functionality.
    • Added instructions to the app page in Homeys settings.
The 'Delayed Trigger' is implemented now. You can configure the timeout in a range from 0-120 seconds.

Please test and share the results/findings with me.

  • This app looks very nice. I also would like to test your app.  I'll PM you my email
  • Works great, updating to 0.0.7 now

I did order a Zipatoo keypad. But i also have a MQTT (Android) based raspberry pi keypad (7" screen).
I use this one with HomeAssistant, so i dunno if it works woth Homey but ill give it a shot.

New version published to the app store:

    Version 0.0.8

    • Added a 'Just log' option for devices so they can be logged without activating the alarm.
    • Added some intelligence to the selection of Monitor, Delayed Trigger and Just log options.
    • Added more Dutch translations.

You can select a 'Just Log' option on a device so events will be written to the log but the alarm will not get activated.

  • Can any of the testers that runs Homey in Dutch please go to the 'Instructies' tab and please let me know if the first alinea is indeed partial Dutch? (I'm running my Homey in English)

The rest of the page is still English:
