  • I discussed this last Saturday with two of the Atom developers. The app owner is an old intern of them.
The would see what is possible here (fork and delete original app or something else).

    please do,   :) o:)

I haven't done this yet because I heard that the API calls are broken in my version and I haven't gotten the time to look into it. So in the normal version the APIs work and the manual function doesn't and in my version the manual option works and the APIs don't...

UPDATE: I checked and for zipcode 5674RP 12 it seems to work (just a random zipcode that I could find that is valid for one of the API's).
  • Hi,

I'm trying to use your app. I checked my address at http://www.mijnafvalwijzer.nl/ and it finds my address on that site when entering my postal zip and house number. So I installed the app, filled in the same postal zip and house number in the settings, but then it says "This address is not supported".

     What am I doing wrong?
  • Hi,

If the zip code on mijnafwalwijzer.nl returns your address with an Orange underline. It is not supported. Only if it return an address with underlined with a green line. This is a bit weird of the website and often causes a lot of confusion.
  • You are right, it shows Orange underline for my address. I checked my 'gemeente' and they have their own site/app:

    https://afvalkalender.venray.nl/form

Can this one be integrated into the Trashcan Reminder app?
  • Hi, i think the app is not working anymore on firmware 1.5.0. My flows are not working anymore. Something to do with sdk2?

i am using the manual feature.
  • Weird, should still work... I did however start on a SDK v2 version already. https://github.com/robertraaijmakers/com.athom.trashchecker/

It will install as a new app, because I changed the unique app ID. This is so that this app can be published in the store soon. There is only one issue left that Athom needs to solve and that is that the app doesn't get a speech trigger... so the speech commands are broken in this version of the app.

Ok will try that version. Thanks
  • Cab you add support for:

    https://afvalkalender.venray.nl/form

    Would be  great!
  • To be very short: I can, but I won't
There is an option to manually add your delivery dates and that costs very little effort to configure :) Let's say, less effort then it would for somebody to add support for an API
  • @MrDutchfighter is there a posibility to add tags? now i have multiple flows to check if GFT, Rest or Papier is today... would be nice if this can be done in one flow.

There are multiple options possible There is an "any" tag that can check if any type of trash is collected today/tomorrow/day after tomorrow.

Another option is to use the "OR" functionality in Homey flows.

I'm still looking into a way to make a generic tag or something to support custom output without writing 4 to 5 flows. But every one wants something different in their output (the one will call it the green container while the other wants to call it the organic waste etc.). So if you (or someone else reading along) has a clever solution supporting everyone's scenario's then I will happily implement this.
  • Custom label for GFT, Papier.. etc in settings wich the app will use?

I found out the solution is built by this:
    -  http://www.opzet.nl/afvalapp_iPhone_en_Android

Do you have experience with some apps using this already and do you know if its possible to collect their data somehow?
  • Any idea when the latest version arrives in de app store? I still can't edit my custom calendar.
  • Currently submitted a beta version to the store. Once it gets approved there will be an Trashcan Reminder 2.0 in the store. Will let you know as soon as the beta is approved :)
  • Would it be possible to have this (or any other app) working in Denmark?
  • Most apps work in Danmark, even buienradar might work (Danmark is not that far away, I understood it worked in England). You can always set your own dates in the trashcan-app.
  • The beta got approved and I started a new topic for the Trashcan Reminder 2.0 app: https://forum.athom.com/discussion/3821/trashcan-reminder-2-0-beta. Currently only in beta till I got all the bugs out.

    Currently known bugs:
    - Speech isn't working anymore;
    - Last night I got an error while the global tag was updated and the app crashed.
